As we're still on MECQ (Modified Enhanced Communit Quarantine), it becomes even more important to find ways to protect ourselves and the people around us at home and at work. This is the philosophy that Okada Manila stands for—caring for each of their team members and their loved ones by offering them a free COVID-19 vaccination. The program, held in partnership with AC Health and which started in July, is expected to be completed by 4th quarter of the year.

Vaxta sama-sama, Panalo” is the integrated resort’s vaccination program aimed at safeguarding the health and safety of its more than 5,700 team members. “Having our team members and their loved ones vaccinated won’t just keep them safer from the threat of COVID 19, this will also give them some peace of mind during this unprecedented and unpredictable time,” Okada Manila President, Byron Yip, shares. “As frontliners of the hospitality and tourism industry, we want to give our team members the safest possible work environment.”

According to Yip, the “Vaxta sama-sama, Panalo” vaccination program aims to encourage other businesses and individuals to follow suit. “More vaccinated individuals mean we can contribute to managing the number of COVID-19 cases in the country while also helping with restarting the economy,” he says.
