Retracing Pia Wurtzbach's Adventure In Dubai
Dubai has become one of the more luxurious places in our travel bucket list, especially with its abundance of ultramodern architecture and luxurious shopping spots. It is also home to the popular Burj Khalifa, one of the tallest buildings in the world which stands at a towering 830 meters.
There are so many spots and places to visit in Dubai, and creating an itinerary could be a headache for some. So if you're not the kind of person who'd create your own schedule, why not take inspiration from and retrace the steps of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach during her last visit to Dubai?
Here's a quick look at Pia's itinerary in the luxurious city of Dubai:
Souk Madinat Jumeirah
When you think of traditional Arabian marketplace, one of the most popular spots in Dubai is the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, an expansive market with shops, galleries, and dining outlets lined in its alleyways that embody traditional and modern aesthetics. The ambiance is traditionally Middle Eastern, while the boutiques are often high-end and modern brands.
Eating at Souk Madinat is an experience in itself as well. Apart from their meticulously prepared Arabian dishes, all the restaurants boast of Arabian architecture and offer views of the waterways and the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.
Exploring with Furne One
Furne One is the Filipino designer that is currently taking Middle East by storm, specializing in avant-garde and haute couture for the local socialites and international celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and more.
During Pia's trip to Dubai, she visits Amato Couture, the headquarters of Furne at the Dubai Design District, which is filled with beautiful and lavishly designd dresses and gowns—and tries on some herself!
