Traveling With Your Kid? Turn His Economy Seat Into A Flatbed With A Suitcase!
It’s a luggage, but it’s also a ride-on travel gadget. And it transforms into a bed upon take-off—talk about being a jack of all trades!
Flight seats are uncomfortable and kids simply can't stay put inside a plane. But if you’re fond of traveling, you can make it easier for both you and your kid if you make his plane ride convenient and comfortable enough that they can sleep throughout the duration of your flight.
If you’re unable to score a flatbed for your trip, however, check out this suitcase that transforms your kid’s economy seat into a comfortable bed.
It all started with jetsetting couple Christina and Halvor Holmgren, who always found it hard to calm their daughter to sleep during their flights. So they designed JetKids BedBox, a luggage that serves two purposes: one, it makes for a fun suitcase that your kid can bring on his own and easily ride around; and two, it transforms into a comfortable bed perfect for when your kid becomes exhausted from playing and is ready to nap and recharge! Genius, isn’t it?
So, how does it work? As a suitcase, the Bedbox can store up to 20 liters, which is more than enough space for your kid’s stuff. As a bed, it can be set up in front of your child’s seat and comes with a comfortable mattress to make your child extra comfortable throughout your trip. To secure the luggage in place, use the shoulder straps to attach it to the metal bar under the seat in front of your kid's.
As parents, you’re always worried about your kid’s safety, especially during the flight, so it’s nice to know that the BedBox is also designed to work seamlessly with the plane’s seatbelt feature. It has also been assessed and approved by major international airlines so you won’t have issues setting it up anywhere. But for safety precautions, it is recommended to use the BedBox on window seats or middle seats.
BedBox comes in red and blue and retails for $199. It may be shipped free worldwide. Orders may be placed online via their website, Jet-kids.com. No-fuss shopping, no-fuss travel—what’s not to love about this cool invention?
