Mayad rose to the occasion, assembling a team of eight that included four directors, translators, and creative leads.</p><p style="text-align:left">“The approach was simple: tell the story with heart, but shoot it like a movie,” says Alvin. “We had a translator from the planner’s team so communication would flow. The goal was to move fluidly through this massive space and not miss the emotion amid the spectacle.”</p><p style="text-align:left">The result was a wedding that balanced celebrity scale with intimacy- elegant, luminous, and full of life. “The atmosphere was light and happy,” Alvin recalls. “Very elegant and glamorous, but also full of laughter. It had this whimsical, wonderland feel she wanted. Even her jewelry was displayed there. It was very personal, very her.”</p><p style="text-align:left">The couple’s dogs weren’t just part of the décor. The entire space was designed around that concept—deep, atmospheric, and ethereal. Tao was incredibly warm and followed every direction. He gave his best.”</p><p style="text-align:left">Their chemistry, both on and off camera brought a natural rhythm to the film. “They didn’t want anything overly staged,” Alvin explains. “Chinese weddings tend to lean toward grandeur and glam, while Mayad’s style is storytelling-driven. So we found a balance: cinematic but real. Their backgrounds in fashion and entertainment helped shape the visual mood.
