He said, &quot;The bride initially requested a very simple wedding gown, a body-hugging silhouette with a train. As we progressed through the design conceptualization, I carefully incorporated my own creative ideas while still honoring her vision. I suggested adding a detachable train to give her two distinct looks: an elegant and dramatic bridal appearance for the ceremony and a more comfortable yet sophisticated look for the after-party.&quot;</p><p>Jopay&#x27;s fully embellished gown features a sweetheart neckline and intricate, sparkly beadwork that matched her bridal glow, enhanced by makeup artist <strong>Marben Talanay</strong> and hairstylist <strong>Darla Golias Soria</strong>.</p><p>The fitted gown delicately flared with the detachable train, which looked structured yet exuded softness at the same time. Joshua wanted to follow that color scheme and requested that Norman create for him a simple off-white suit paired with an emerald green bow tie. </p><p style="text-align:left">&quot;That was our original concept during the early stages of planning,&quot; Norman told us. &quot;As the design process progressed, I decided to add a subtle twist to elevate the overall look while maintaining its classic elegance. To complement the intricate details and luxurious feel of the bride’s gown, I incorporated a textured fabric into the suit design, adding depth, character, and sophistication. The off-white color kept the look timeless and refined, while the textured fabric enhanced the suit’s visual appeal without overpowering its simplicity. But that was the case for Jopay and Joshua. How did their collaboration with Norman begin? </p><p>&quot;I have always followed and watched their shows, but we had never personally met before,&quot; the designer, nurse, and Miss Universe PH-Cavite Regional Director shared. &quot;As the wedding planning process began and they chose Fernwood Gardens Tagaytay as their wedding venue, we were introduced through the efforts and kind referral of [event stylist and florist]<strong> Barbara Bennett</strong>. Through her recommendation and trust in my work, the couple decided to entrust me with the creation of both the bridal gown and the groom’s suit. It was truly an honor to be part of such an important milestone in their lives.&quot;</p><p>Jopay and Joshua got married on June 6, 2014, and interestingly, their wedding was also held at Fernwood Gardens, but in the Quezon City branch.
