In Photos: Aicelle Santos And Mark Zambrano’s Sunflower-Themed Wedding

Singer-songwriter Aicelle Santos and sports commentator and TV host Mark Zambrano tied the knot in Jardín de Zaida in Batangas last November 16.They had an outdoor ceremony, followed by an intimate rustic garden reception.

The sunflower, earthy-themed wedding was the bride's choice. "She chose sunflower for her wedding to reflect the radiance of the sun as a symbol of happiness, vibrancy and prosperity," event stylist Dave Sandoval says.

To stay true to Aicelle’s vision, Dave transformed the garden area into a rustic venue filled with bright sunflowers and freshly cut lemons. The tablescapes were decorated with pops of yellow and green accents juxtaposed with rustic bowls and candle holders on wooden tables. The overall result is like a fairy tale come true.

In this sea of yellow, the couple stood out—the groom in a dapper midnight blue suit and the bride in an off-shoulder, mermaid-cut gown, both by fashion designer Edwin Tan.

Aicelle and Mark set the romantic tone for the night as they danced for the first time as husband and wife. Host Jerald Napoles made sure guests were laughing until the end of the night.

The couple planned an unforgettable lineup of performances, featuring famous singers and thespians including Kyla, Paeng Sudayan, The Company, Dulce, Maricris Garcia, and Tim Pavino. The bride herself entertained the guests, delighting everyone with her angelic yet powerful voice that echoed across the garden setup.

Aicelle and Mark’s friends, who are abroad and couldn’t make it to their big day, made videos to congratulate them, adding a heartwarming touch to the program. The couple’s pre-nup video by NicePrint Photography was also shown to the guests, reminding them as to how this love blossomed into a kind of relationship meant to last a lifetime.
