5 Design Details At Isabelle Duterte's Debut

The debut of Isabelle Duterte was lavish in all aspects. Her stunning cobalt blue ombré Michael Cinco gown stood out in the dreamy setting, designed with all things sparkly, romantic, and luxurious.

Well-known event stylist Robert Blancaflor—who is also the man behind the opulently styled Paris wedding reception of Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, the elegant carnival-themed debut of Julia Barretto, and the classic and romantic décor at various areas during the Star Magic Ball last year—is to thank for, for elevating the feel of Isabelle’s debut into one that’s sophisticatedly fairytale-like.

Here are the five major design elements at #BELLEssima18:

1. The Grand Floral Tunel

What a way to make a grand entrance! The “#AllFresh” lighted floral tunnel was not only filled to the brim with different kinds of blooms, it also features a glass floor panel walkway with more flowers and fairy lights underneath.

2. The Elaborate Ceiling Décor

The ceiling of the ballroom was decked out with chandeliers and lamp shades with all-fresh flowers and foliage cascading down beautifully, almost reaching the tall candelabras and floral centerpieces that adorn the tables. Altogether, they create a visually rich design ensemble that lends both glamor and a sense of warmth to the intimate venue.

3. The Elegant Long Tables and The Tablescapes

Long tables were used for the occasion, adding a more formal approach to the event rather than the typical round table setups. The tables used had mirrored surfaces that bring touches of elegance; complementing the tables were clear transparent chairs. Each table had a centerpiece of a row of vases filled with “the best flowers available this season,” including peonies, hyacinths, feathered tulips, David Austin roses, and amaryllis.

4. The Panoramic LED Wall

The stage had a panoramic LED wall as its backdrop. It displayed images from Isabelle’s pre-debut shoots in Malacañang as well as the one done in Australia.
