In Photos: This Debutante Wore A Lavish Mak Tumang Gown For Her Milky Way-Themed Party

If we're talking debutantes who have amped up the wow factor in their birthday parties, you have to see Bianca Palad's 18th Milky Way-themed bash that's by far, the queen (or should we say, star) of all the grandest parties we've seen in this half 2019!

The debutante went all-out in her planning for this once-in-a-lifetime event with the help of seasoned party planner La Belle Fete, what with her venue, gown, décor, glam look, outfit changes, and production numbers.

Bianca and her family took their guests to Marriott's Grand Ballroom to celebrate her pretty transition to adulthood. And under the expert hands of event stylist Gideon Hermosa, the massive space was transformed into the cosmos descending on earth.

Sweeping shades of black and blue dominated the view with generous pops of gold on the ceiling and pink and purple on tablescapes to suggest the presence of twinkling stars.

As for Bianca's debut dress, she put her faith in the powerful tandem of stylist Jeff Galang and none other than Pampanga-based designer Mak Tumang, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's designer of choice and the creative genius behind her lava-inspired gown; Mak created a custom number for Bianca that was the fashionable embodiment of her vision for her big day.

Featuring Mak's signature angular elements and bright accents that have made his dresses beautiful up close as well as from across the room, the voluminous gown hugged Bianca's svelte figure perfectly while giving onlookers a heavy dose of flair and drama.

The teenager visited the award-winning designer to plan for her debut look herself, proving just how much she was ready to carve her own path as a young woman.

Expressing her creativity in more ways that one, Bianca also opted for a non-traditional "18 roses" ceremony that saw her change into multiple outfits—including a glamorous strapless number in white by lauded fashion designer Patricia Santos—and perform onstage with the most important people in her life—her special guest being Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales himself who serenaded her!

Bianca's mom (who performed alongside her in equally stylish ensembles!), her dad, her siblings, and her closest friends were all eyes on her all throughout the evening, their eyes widening in even more amazement when her cake by Chef Castillo Fuentes was rolled out.

The edible masterpiece was the galaxy in its sweetest form, ready to be devoured by those with a strong sweet tooth!

?? @adrianardiente All the stars in the sky descended for #legallybianca Our debut cake that’s part modern and part cake decorating historical throwback. We started with a modern base, handpainted with a watercolor effect to simulate nebulae, studded it with silver dragees, swarovski crystals, and rose gold leaf and two silver stars. Then to simulate a falling star effect, we used a traditional old style Philippine cake decorating technique called “sampaguita” to create cascades all around the cake. @labellefete @gideonhermosa @geraldine.a.uy @jefffgalang @mariahsantos23 @niceprintphoto @maktumang @manilamarriott @paolodorotheocastillofuentes
