This Paper Crane-Inspired Property Is Metro's Newest Premier Events Place

 

Unfolding at the heart of Bonifacio Global City is Marquis Grand Ballroom, the metro’s newest events destination purposely crafted for unique experiences and remarkable moments.

 

Marquis' grand design

The three sisters who own Marquis—Lorraine Lim-Aguila, Laura Lim-Rodrigo and Lorlyn Lim-Almazora wanted to create inspiring spaces for everyone’s inspiring moments of celebration. Marquis’ brand ideation though took its cue from their grandfather’s passionate appreciation of the legend of a thousand paper Cranes.

 

 

In translating Marquis’ inspiration and vision into a grand venue—Hirsch Bedner Associates, a global leader in hospitality interior design for nearly 50 years delivered a fantastic plan. Truly, the elegance and optimism symbolic of the paper Cranes unfold in every facet of the design plan HBA created—from the carpet, wall and door appointments all the way up to the 7-meter high ceiling that are adorned with luxurious chandelier installation representing the flight of a thousand cranes.

A guest stepping into Marquis can readily relate to HBA’s graceful delivery of inspired brand-strengthening design experiences, evoking a distinct sense of unique luxury delighting those with discriminating taste.

 

 

 

 

 

Expansive Marquis Grand Ballroom

Marquis allocated over 1,200 square meters to encompass its pillar-less grand ballroom. The Marquis Grand Ballroom can be divided into 3 smaller ballrooms and as much as 7 salons with sound-insulated walls to keep events intimate. The spaces can accommodate up to 1,000 guests to an intimate setup of 20 guests.

 

 

 

The varied function spaces were aptly named after types of Cranes with the following extent of measurements—Marquis Grand Ballroom (1290.37 sq. m.); Sarus Ballroom A (302.44 sq. m.); Sarus Ballroom B (675.64 sq. m.); Sarus Ballroom C (266.49 sq. m.); Red Crown (68.22 sq. m.); Black Crown (66.17 sq. m.); Sand Hill (95.51 sq. m.); Grey Crown (70.15 sq. m.); Demoiselle (147.68 sq. m.); and Wattle (117.90 sq. m.).
