Nicole Tantoco's last moments of singlehood was celebrated in the company of those closest to her, before officially becoming Mrs. Miko de los Reyes on August 3, Friday.

The upbeat party—despedida de soltera meant to officially send off a bride-to-be—was brimming to the top with beautiful décor, fresh and fragrant florals, indulgent sips and bites, and positive vibes all around. It was held at White Space in Makati, welcoming some of the metro's most esteemed personalities.

Nicole's closest friends and family were in full force to help her entertain at the red letter affair, and included her parents Donnie and Crickette, twin sister Camille, and brother Christian. Most importantly, right by her side throughout the event was her then fiancé Miko de los Reyes, an architect on the rise whose love for beautiful things she shares.

Personifying the theme of "Broadchella," a mix of Broadway and Coachella, the occasion's highlights were performances by artists Curtismith and Nicole Laurel-Asensio whose talents were matched by surprise choreographed numbers by Nicole's family inspired by The Greatest Showman. Most memorably, Donnie willingly went onstage to show off his dance moves while guests in the audience were encouraged to join in on the fun, much to the delight of the happy newlyweds.

Yet underneath all the merrymaking was the love that permeated the evening, an almost tangible sense of warmth and unity emanating from Nicole and Miko's lifelong commitment to one another.

The couple who met through a surprise set-up on her 25th birthday is now husband and wife, and more than excited to live out their hearts' devotion. They exchanged I dos at Montecito Chapel in Calamba, Laguna, an intimate venue that saw their families come together in a celebration of everlasting love.

"My grandparents allowed us to do our wedding preps at Sta. Elena Golf and Country Estate as a wedding gift. I got ready with my friends in their home Villa Marina, and Miko got ready in the guest house with a view of the water reservoir. Our mass was officiated by Fr. Bingo, who was a huge, spiritual influence to Miko when he was growing up," Nicole shares.

Having started the rest of their lives together in a simple ceremony, Nicole also divulges what she loved most about her wedding. To start, the florals that were prepped by The Flower Farm, with the help of Greens & Blossoms of Agnes Macalinao, played a huge role in their nuptials. Miko's grandmother— whose legacy has been kept alive with floral business The Flower Farm—influenced their choice of blooms and even inspired Miko to handpaint the art on their invitations.

Imagimax, on the other hand, brought Miko's other designs to life in the event's accessories, décor, and signboards. When it came to their wedding bands, which were a gift from Ralph and Gia Suarez, they had lyrics from "Ink," their favorite Coldplay song, engraved on them alongside their wedding date.

Most definitely, the most important people in their lives contributed to this beautiful milestone. The couple's friend Georgia del Rosario of Bridesmaids and Co. helped plan the wedding; chef Tony Boy Escalante gifted them with edible masterpieces in the forms of two raclette wheels for cocktails and Tuna Tiradito; Miko's mom put together the choir; and their photo booth was decorated with orange alstroemerias and baskets of flowers as a nod to the moment Miko proposed. Audrey Hepburn's "Moon Riverwas the song Nicole walked down the aisle to, a favorite of Miko's grandma.

Nicole adds, "Additionally, Miko's Tita Nona gifted us with the MSO String Quartet to play at our cocktails and reception, and Jo-B Sebastian, Miko's best friend, also sang a set." Everything about their wedding helped tell the story of their love, and no detail was left to randomness.

Training the spotlight on Nicole and Miko's wedding garb, a Jojie Lloren number featuring embroidered piña and inspired by Filipino botanical prints brought out Nicole's bridal glow. Jojie told Metro.Style, "Nicole wanted a simple gown that has structured detailing at the back, and takes inspiration from the phalaenopsis. I basically used callado piña and French lace." Miko and his groomsmen were dressed by master tailors at King Philip and the bridal entourage wore dresses by Rosanna Ocampo.

Rounding up Nicole and Miko's wedding day was a reception at Antonio's in Tagaytay. Speeches, toasts, feasting, and much more dancing and enjoyment followed, all of which proved to be the best send off that any bride—and groom!—could ask for.

Now, a few days after they officially became each other's for life, Nicole says that what they're happiest about is nothing complicated: "We finally get to spend almost every minute of our days with each other, which is something we've always wanted to do since we met! The best part of the day is falling asleep with his hand in mine.

"We are looking forward to raising a family, building a home, and growing old together," she concludes.

Congratulations, Nicole and Miko!
