Amady Manila's 5th Year Shows Love Worth Celebrating

With straightforward, intrinsic, and light-hearted as part of their core values, film and photo brand Amady Manila heads to another 5 years of success

Metro has always been in the forefront of the wedding industry with Metro Weddings, so it came as a pleasant surprise that the past few years (which included a pandemic) birthed an entire brand that captures the essence of life’s most significant moments: Amady.

The company started in April 2019, and after five years, grew into an independent brand, guided by the vision of their former Chief Editor and now CEO and Managing Partner, Archel Miranda.

“Amady's journey began on April 26, 2019. Reflecting on it,  I can still recall the moment when [co-Managing Partners] Alvin Paver and Sheena [Alcantara] offered it to me over a late-night snack. In May 2023, it officially became Amady Manila Inc..” Archel shares with Metro.Style

Archel’s keen eye for detail and passion for storytelling, alongside his talented team, embraced the challenge of nurturing this idea into a thriving brand despite the hurdles faced. The pandemic, as we all know, proved to be very challenging for all wedding suppliers as gatherings and events were regulated due to the lockdown. Through this, Amady remained resilient, and adapted to the the changing landscape while staying true to its core values.

On the website, one can’t help but be drawn to their coverage of celebrity and lifestyle personalities such as Riel Manuel and Valeen Montenegro’s wedding and Edward Bugia and Trixie Esguerra’s engagement shoot, among others.

“Fueled by passion and a commitment to constant improvement in our craft, we managed to define who Amady was. With Straightforward, Intrinsic, and Light-Hearted as our core principles, Amady is dedicated to capturing real emotions through curated storytelling. Our goal is to immortalize those anticipated moments that our clients will keep for a lifetime,” he says. “Love is definitely worth celebrating.”
