The Baguio Wedding and Event Suppliers Organization (BWESO) lets us in on the top suppliers in the summer capital through the second edition of the Baguio Bridal Fair, held last September at the Baguio Country Club. Over 100 couples headed to the event—including couples from the metro!—to see what the City of Pines has to offer. From last year’s humble participants, more suppliers joined the fair to present more options for all attendees—some booths housed jewelry makers, photography teams, musicians, and even grooming services!

Driven by passion and dedication to weddings the Baguio way, each one showed off a myriad of selections that fit every kind of husband-and-wife-to-be. From use of native details and locally-sourced materials to showcasing the Baguio art, fine craftsmanship, and delicacies, setting your dream wedding here won’t leave you missing on all the important matters.

Case in point: one of their pride, Miel’s Events and Floral Design. This brainchild by Miguel Bautista, who was mentored previously by planner extraordinaire Teddy Manuel, have been steadily servicing clients with grand and top-tier arrangements that could keep up with other designers from Manila and beyond.

“Aside from our unending passion, humble lang lagi ang approach ng Baguio suppliers. Parang, let the work speak for itself,” Jomai points out. “On top of that, low-key lang talaga ang Baguio suppliers. Pero when you see their work—wow, maipagmamalaki talaga.”

Through the fair, BWESO hopes that couples will discover a talented roster from the city itself that can cater to their needs, instead of sourcing for services outside of Baguio. “It’s the home court advantage talaga that lets you in on the best ones here in Baguio,” Marbee Shing Go shares. She adds how it easily leads from one great gem to another, simply by giving them a chance to be found and cater to you.
