This Luxurious, Design-Driven Hotel In Boracay Has The Most Breathtaking Spots For Your Wedding

Imagine saying "I do" on a floating platform atop an infinity pool, with clear skies, calm seas, and the famous Boracay sunset sealing your union in the most scenic way

We dare you to not say or think the word "wow," or any adjective similar to it, once you step on the lobby of The Lind in Boracay, a brand under Scottland Leisure, Inc. Its unassuming entrance through the basement leads to a beautiful surprise: a wide, high-ceiling lobby in muted tones of creams and grays with its floor-to-ceiling windows framing the beautiful architecture of the property, the stunning view of its infinity pool, and the breathtaking Boracay skies. It's a scene that's impressive in photos, yet even better in person.

As you move along, its +36 Lobby Lounge & Bar is hard to miss, with the display of its beautifully crafted cakes and a glimpse of its sophisticated interiors inviting one to discover more. The bar is cleverly named after Boracay's area code, and it proves to be a great spot for mid-day snacks and afternoon/evening cocktails.

Step out onto +36's deck, and appreciate one of the best views in the property. A walkway made of wooden slats is underlined by a landscaped garden with huge birdcage cabanas and leafy coconut trees. It serves as a prelude to the best area in The Lind, and it's where one can take in the many beautiful layers of the 5-star lifestyle hotel exceptionally designed by Manny Samson and Associates.

Walk further along, and you'll arrive at the Infinity pool area overlooking The Lind's beachfront. The view from here is so spectacular you'll find it hard not to fill your phone's gallery with many photos of itit's just lovely from all angles and at different times. It's easy to see why this is a favorite spot for intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. The outdoor venue—which is categorized into the pool deck, pebble area, and spa deck—can comfortably fit in 50 to 100 guests.

If you think the morning view at the Infinity is already amazing, wait till you see the world-famous Boracay sunset hereit's inarguably one of the most romantic sightings you'll ever lay eyes on.

Brides-to-be, look around. Imagine saying your "I dos" in such a picture-perfect place that even your guests will cherish.

Creating wonderful weddings is, after all, one of the things The Lind Boracay has been known and loved for.

"The layout of it already has some surprising elements in it. You have a great view towards the sea, and also a great view inside... We focused very much on the lights, setting the atmosphere and getting the guests into the right mood. We used many exciting patterns, fabrics, materials... Also, the furniture pieces, they're very creative, exciting, interesting; you wanna sit on them. It's very important that the design should not only be focusing on the aesthetics but at the end of the day, it must be comfortable... I truly believe that aesthetic and function must go hand in hand, and I think we got that right," says Zsolt Siket, the new general manager of The Lind Boracay, a hip, design-driven, and eco-conscious hotel.

Located at the end of White Beach's Station 1, The Lind is the only property in this side of Boracay that has a spacious ballroom that can accommodate functions. The Lind Ballroom can accommodate 280 banquet guests. It may also be divided into three separate rooms for more intimate gatherings. Its outdoor viewing deck provides the best vantage point that overlooks the beach and the entirety of The Lind, but on some occasions, it may also be transformed as a spot for an intimate wedding ceremony or a cocktail area for an event.

These features just make the top layers of The Lind. Scratch further beneath the surface and you'll find more hidden gems within this sprawling 119-room property.

An intimate wedding ceremony or reception may also be held at its beachfront which is now double in size as compared to when it first opened in October 2015. Allow your guests to ditch the formal footwear for more casual pairs that will let them feel the powdery-white sand in between their toes with every step they take. Here, where the sky, sea, and shore meet is where a couple's road to wedded bliss begins.

Options that may be explored for an intimate reception is The Lind Boracay's Crust beach bar and restaurant, located right by the beachfront, which prides itself in its own rustic brick oven and in-house made pizza dough, breads, and pastries; a must-try here, too, is its fall-off-the-bone roasted meats.

Across the Crust is the main swimming pool area, where The Garden Poolside also holds so much promise in leveling up your wedding festivities. Once, there was a couple who even thought of using this whole space for their welcome dinner, with the bridge design serving as a focal  point for the décor.

During their media familiarization tour, we were given a glimpse and taste of the wedding menu they can put together for couples. At the event, which was scheduled in the afternoon so we can catch the Boracay sunset, a dinner setup with an elegant tablescape by event stylist and florist Teddy Manuel was prepared. The menu included assorted artisan breads and condiments, wild mushroom soup (sage mascarpone and truffle soup), assiette of salmon (hot seared ginger salmon and pickled cucumber), salmon tartare (smoked salmon, salmon eggs, caviar and crispy capers), fillet steak rossini (seared foie gras, truffle pomme purée, buttered French beans and Madeira sauce. While all these were being served, a talented duo provided sweet and lively music that complemented the quiet night, and a gin corner by the infinity pool offered a wide array of drinks much to everyone's delight.
