Just last month, to celebrate Mental Health Awareness and promote its cause, Certified Calm partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to conduct a free yoga class led by seasoned yogi Isabel Dulay-Naval of Bliss Yoga Manila for its Sanctuary Center residents in Brgy. Addition Hills.
Unknown to many, there is a safe house for women recovering from psychosis and other mental illnesses—and this place is The Sanctuary Center. It's a residential institution where patients stay to heal and manage mental illnesses, and Certified Calm felt that bringing a calming and empowering fitness class like yoga to such a space would do the women wonders.

"Through the yoga class, we hope to provide these women with a spark of positivity and energy. Our mission at Certified Calm has always been to empower those around us to be the best selves that they can be. None is this more true than for those who often feel ostracised from the rest of society."
Certified Calm is known to supply some of yoga's best brands, including Manduka. For the yoga class, participants got to experience the high-quality mat, for a blissful session of stretching, posing, and strengthening of the mind!
