3 Things We Learned From Kathryn Bernardo's Workout Vlog
The actress has been giving us serious fitspiration this quarantine!
We've been keeping tabs on how celebrities have been busy during the past few months of quarantine, and if they aren't doing DIY beauty projects, some have developed their green thumb, while others have turned their passion for food into a full-blown business. On the other hand, some celebrities took this time to work on their fitness, for they aren't really able to dive deep and dedicate plenty of hours when they are on an otherwise hectic shooting schedule!
A lot of our fitspirations like Lovi Poe and Kim Chiu have been going at it hard on the fitness route, but we've got to say, Kathryn Bernardo has also been giving us some serious ab-inspiration these days! About a month ago, Kath teased us with a series of sweaty selfies, all showing off an endorphin glow she worked hard for!
And because we want to dig deeper into her actual workout routine, we're ecstatic that she broke it all down for us in a YouTube video on her channel, Everyday Kath! In it, she breaks down her three go-to workouts for sculpting abs like hers, and we've got to say—we want in!
Check the video out here:
In the video, she collaborates with three fitness experts—first is Janie Buelow, Founder of Elev8 Fitness Studio, Lovely Abella, founder of Lovely's Fitness Squad, and Kat Garcia, founder of Body by Mama Kat. By watching this video, we learned the following fitness tips and tricks that we can totally incorporate in our own routines:
1. First up, as Janie mentioned, Elev8 Fitness Studio's equipment is being offered for rent to their members, so they can work on their fitness from home. So yes, we do not have any excuse not to workout even if we're cooped up in our houses! With the wealth of workouts available online, you can totally get your sweat on literally anywhere!
2. Next up, as Lovely shares a short pep talk for all. She tells us that after we all come our of the quarantine sometime in the future, it would be good to have done something good for ourselves. Working on our fitness doesn't just guarantee a good physique, it also helps with our immunity, and our self-confidence levels too!
3. Lastly, celebrity trainer Kat Garcia of Body by Mama Kat shares that one should not forget to move daily! Yes, even just walking! You can get your intense workout thrice a week, but be sure to move to find ways to move on other days of the week as well. She tells us that just 20-30 minutes of cardio of your choice already cuts it! "Laziness fuels laziness, the body was designed to move", she shares.
How are you moving today? If you're still clueless about what workout matches your personality, then try Kathryn's three different workouts to get a feel of what's fun and what shows results! Most of all, have fun with it!
