Breast cancer has become the most common and malignant cancer around the globe and among Filipino women, and is by far the third top cause of cancer-related deaths in the Philippines. Research and development programs have continued to mushroom in the country to address the recurring adversary, but funds are barely enough to cover the expensive cost of treating the disease.
Due to this, cancer charities and crusades have long been leading the breast cancer campaign across the archipelago and abroad. Breast Cancer Awareness has grown to be a global mission for initiatives and movements who are actively promoting the welfare of patients and their access to free services and facilities.
