Going Back To Nature Is What Your Stressed Out Body Needs

Cathy Turvill and her British husband Mike have grown Nurture Wellness Village over the years and continue to expand its services. During Nurture’s recent celebration for its 17th anniversary in Tagaytay City, it is not surprising to find out that the couple recently added Wellness Intervention in their list of services offered to both local and foreign clients.

During a visit to Nurture wellness village, Mrs. Turvill announced that they are moving into Wellness Tourism. With this, they are expecting more travelers to visit Nurture to avail of the Wellness Intervention program which focuses on three key areas: Prevention, Recovery, and Rejuvenation.

 

From Farm tours to Healthy Eating

Nurture Wellness Village has a farm called Nurture Farmacy. It caters to both small and big groups and the experience features a back to nature experience type of walking tour as one gets to see and touch different organic greens, herbs and fruits which are grouped together according to the benefits they provide to the different organs in one’s body.

One will certainly learn facts such as eating banana, garlic, tomato, zucchini, lettuce, guava, and cayenne pepper is good for one’s heart. Apart from seeing all the organic plants during the walking tour at the Farmacy, one will also see the vermiculture area and even the organic chickens, bunny rabbits, and their resident carabao named Maria Clara.

 


Nurture offers healthy and freshly prepared meals sourced from their organic farm.

 

With the company’s priority on providing wellness to guests, fresh produce harvested from Nurture Farmacy are also available at the store and healthy meals and drinks are also prepared by the kitchen staff using their farm to table organic produce.

 

Wellness and Spa Treatments

Nurture offers a wide range of wellness and spa treatments to guests. One may opt to have a facial, a body massage, a foot massage, a body scrub or avail of acupuncture, a charcoal body wrap treatment or detox treatments that can help one have a much deserved me time and pampering time.

 


Relaxing body scrub treatments are available at Nurture.

 

Those who want to experience Hilot massage, a customized Filipino massage that makes use of banana leaves, special herbs and coconut oil may also avail of the one-hour massage service that can help bring the body back to better health.

For those who want ultimate pampering, they can avail of the 5-hour massage treatment which is an ayurvedic inspired treatment that can help revitalize and relax.

Offering more options

“At Nurture, we offer visitors a place where they can relax. It’s a good place for families too since they can go on our farm tour, visit nearby tourist places like Taal volcano or a beach, have a campfire and go glamping, have relaxing spa treatments and have healthy meals," says Cathy Turvill.

Apart from catering to families, Nurture also offers corporate package rates to companies who want to have an outdoor team building activity which includes glamping and wellness activities such as yoga, tai chi, etc.
