Healthy Options At Our Service
With malls still operating under quarantine restrictions, Healthy Options has pumped up their online store, providing their customers with service that goes the extra mile.
The Healthy Options stores are such a regular feature of our urban landscape today, that it’s easy to forget that this retailer specializing in all-natural products opened its first store way back in 1995, with a grand total of four employees. Fast forward 25 years, and with 33 stores nationwide, it’s the first and largest chain in its niche - a niche that has grown exponentially in popularity and shopping preference. Especially now, with the ravages of the COVID pandemic lingering; personal Health & Nutrition is at a premium, and the regular clientele of Healthy Options have found that the retail chain is more than ready to be of service.
The stores are gradually reopening, but to make sure their customers aren’t at a loss, the Healthy Options online store has beefed up its offerings and logistical support. Multivitamins, groceries and household essentials, natural personal care products, and those that have to do with sanitation and disinfection; they’re all available at the online store. Servicing all the cities of Metro Manila, in Cainta and Antipolo; one can avail of the HO products online with a minimum order of P1,500; and if one collates one’s requirements and reaches P5,000, shipping is free. Since their new store format opened at Uptown Mall BGC, I’ve had nothing but good things to say about their new in-store section, Baking Therapy. Their freshly baked Demi-Baguettes and Sun-Dried Tomato Focaccia, and Gluten-free White Loaf are regular highlights; but my favorites are their Walnut Sourdough, and the Gluten-free Multi-Grain Loaf. They’re proud of their Cinnamon Coffee Muffins; but the one I’m always tempted to bring home when I’d drop by is their Chocolate Tart. Most are available on their online store.
Safe for keto diets, and a favorite of the lactose-intolerant (and you can count me as one of the latter), is the Pure Harvest Almond Milk. This is my choice when it comes to cereals. Fresh eggs from local farmers, choice cuts of natural beef and pork, and sustainable seafood choices—Healthy Options upped their game as the COVID-19 quarantine extended, with delivery in thermo-controlled boxes one the features of their online store service.
With their Marina pasta; one immediate favorite quick-meal to indulge in is their flat pasta, with Tiger Prawns and Lyrate Hard Shell Clams. The Clams are first-rate; and they’re a nice addition to the Prawns, adding a swirl of flavors to this Mixed Seafood pasta recipe.
When it comes to Immunity and Nutrition, two major concerns of responsible, health-conscious shoppers today; Healthy Options is mindful of being one reliable supplier of products that cater to these concerns. It’s all part and parcel of the vision and philosophy behind the brand. It’s been part of their corporate DNA for a quarter of a century, and it’s great to know that as we’ve caught up with that vision, they’ve found ways to be dependable, even in these trying times.
