Pond's TWICE Tzuyu Jihyo

<p>Just a few weeks before they’re set to return for their concert in Bulacan, <strong>TWICE’s Jihyo </strong>and <strong>Tzuyu</strong> dropped by at the annual <strong>POND’S Skin Institute Gala</strong> for an exclusive fan meet with ONCEs from the Philippines and Indonesia. </p><p>As the newest global ambassadors for the personal care brand, the two members of the phenomenal girl group took part in the annual event to launch the Miracles Happen campaign, as well as share some beauty tips with the lucky ONCEs who were in attendance.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1759233941524Metro Style Banner Ponds TWICE Tzuyu Jihyo.jpg" style="width:700px" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded"/></div><div><br/></div><p>“I’ve seen the importance of having to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, so I always put on not just once but also reapply sunblock,” Jihyo said when asked to share some tips on how she takes care of her skin.</p><p>Unlike other idols who have fair skin, the leader of TWICE has been known to defy K-pop conventions by having sun-kissed skin. So when POND’S offered me to be the global ambassador, I was very grateful and amazed,” Jihyo said. Fun Fact: She drew and conceptualized the sun monster bag charm for the brand.</p><p>As a lover of outdoor activities, the TWICE leader also reminded everyone about keeping their faces safe while under the sun, “I actually want to recommend the beauty products of POND’S as well as caps and other products to cover your face.”</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded" style="width:700px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1759234044037SnapInsta.to_552475469_18028389164733587_8829806891955109860_n.jpg" style="width:700px" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded"/><span class="fr-inner">Tzuyu | Photo via @thinkaboutzu</span></span></span></div><p>Meanwhile, TWICE’s maknae Tzuyu was very ecstatic to be in the Philippines before they perform at the Philippine Arena in October. “I’m very happy to be the global ambassador of POND’S, and I’m very happy to come to the Philippines with my Philippine ONCE,” she said.</p><p>“Meeting ONCE around the world and doing what I love has been an amazing experience, but there are moments when it also gets stressful,” Tzuyu added. I love the BIOME gel because it’s ultra light and nonstick and perfect even under idol makeup.”</p><p>Aside from her TWICE activities, Tzuyu has also been busy doing solo stuff like her collaboration with Corbyn Besson on the single, Blink, which was released last September 24. When asked for advice on how she managed to get out of her comfort zone, Tzuzu said, “...trust yourself and love yourself and that’s the most important thing for you.”</p><p>Jihyo, Tzuyu, and the rest of TWICE will be back in the Philippines on October 4 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan as part of their This Is For world tour.</p>
