<p>It&#x27;s the first Monday in May, and that can only mean one thing in the fashion world—the annual <strong>Met Gala</strong> has officially begun! With this year&#x27;s theme &#x27;<strong>Karl Lagerfeld: A Line in Beauty</strong>&#x27;, A-listers in the fashion and celebrity world come together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to celebrate a new exhibit that will showcase the best of renowned fashion designer, the late Karl Lagerfeld&#x27;s work.</p><div><br/></div><p>Our fashion appetites were satisfied yet again, what with ensemble after ensemble proving worthy of the high fashion theme. A sea of black and white arrived on the Met Gala (blue, red, and white) carpet, as expected, each with his or her own designer interpretation of what the Karl Lagerfeld aesthetic stands for. Complementing the style statements were equally eye-catching beauty moments, a lot of which also paid homage to the late great designer&#x27;s signature design elements. Classic black bows, dramatic eyes we&#x27;ve seen a lot on Chanel runways of the past, muted nude lips, pearl accents, and feline details. </p><div><br/></div><p>In the gallery below, we round up some of our favorite beauty moments from this year&#x27;s Met Gala.
