SM Book Nook Marks World Book Day

We truly believe one good experience with a book can inspire a child’s love for reading and hope this will lead to more creative, thoughtful, and empowered individuals and communities,” shared SM Supermalls Executive Vice President for Marketing <strong>Joaquin L. San Agustin</strong>. “We’ve always believed our malls can be more than places to shop and dine—they are places where people can learn, connect, and grow. Nelson added, &quot;<em>Ang mensahe namin sa mga magulang</em>, please, please encourage your kids to read. <span style="margin:0px;padding:0px"><em>Kasi sabi nga nila</em>, <em>&#x27;pag nagbubukas ka ng libro</em>, <em>&#x27;pag nagbabasa ka ng libro, para ka na ring nagta-</em>travel <em>sa iba&#x27;t ibang bahagi ng mundo kaya mas marami kang napag-travelan, mas marami kang napuntahan na lugar</em>, <em>mas malawak ang kaalaman mo sa maraming bagay</em>.&quot;</span></p><div><span style="margin:0px;padding:0px">There&#x27;s no denying that using gadgets also has advantages, but reading books has its own wonders, so Chef Miggy reminds parents to strike a balance. &quot;<em>Sa mga</em> parents <em>natin</em>, <em>&#x27;wag nating kalimutan na magkaroon ng</em> balance. There should be a balance. I mean, I understand that technology now is needed.
