We’re just a few days away from the premiere of Drag Race Philippines and the hype leading up to the big launch is so real.

While we’re eagerly anticipating to meet host Paolo Ballesteros, the judges, and the twelve queens vying for the top spot, we asked some of Drag Race’s biggest fans what OPM songs they’d perform if they were to lip sync for their lives!

ELDZS MEJIA, Stylist

1. 'Spaghetti' or 'Halukay Ube' of SexBomb Girls

I will do exaggerated lip movements mixed with comedic facial expressions. I’ll also do some voguing together with the original choreography. I think it’s going to be funny and interesting to see how we vogue in a classic Sexbomb song.

2. 'Chuva Choo Choo' by Jolina Magdangal

Everybody knows the song, so it’s an automatic crowd pleaser! I’ll dance some retro moves and just camp it out.

3. 'Tala' by Sarah Geronimo

This is a no brainer. The queens will slay the choreography of this massive Sarah G hit.

4. 'Dadalhin' by Regine Velasquez

Any Pinoy queen will tell you that it’s their dream to lip sync to a Regine song in Drag Race PH! Imagine the dramatics!

MYRRH LAO TO, Stylist

5. “Sumayaw ka” version of KZ Tandingan

It’s a rap song that has been masterfully reinterpreted by KZ and with each (bejeweled) lip movement I will reinterpret it by doing two reveals: two outfit changes - from a glamorous ball gown to a liquid patent catsuit and finish it off with a wig reveal - from a long marseille wig to a super short pixie black hair same with KZ’s.

6. “Tuwing Umuulan” by Regine Velasquez or “Basang-basa sa ulan” by Aegis

I reveal myself in a black bodysuit, barefoot with a big bag containing surprises. When the chorus starts, I will bring out a biiiig transparent raincoat, ang umbrella and wear it with rain boots giving the audience a hint that “we’re gonna get wet, so prepare.' Then when the Coda comes, I will bring out two water guns and shoot water everywhere. It will be the best ulan performance ever!

RAIN DAGALA, Stylist

7. Spoken Word Monologue/Dialogue 'Wag Mo 'Kong Ma-Terry Terry!' by Maricel Soriano and Zsa Zsa Padilla from the movie Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin

This scene screams lip sync 'for your life' (Yes, literally! As Ms. Zsa Zsa's character almost lost her life! Haha!). This iconic scene only deserves an iconic performance by our queens. A true blue (and pink) gay classique!

8. Kundiman by BGYO

In the spirit of staying current (and bagets), why not a song that marries the old and the new. The Drag Race PH mainstage deserves to witness a cariñosa x contemporary dance mash-up. So now and so Filipino too right? Plus, it would be a surprise genre for the queens to keep them on their barky-clad tippy toes.

GRACE LIBERO, Senior Program Coordinator

9. 'Bakit Pa?' - Jessa Zaragosa

10. 'Bituing Walang Ningning' by Sharon Cuneta

This song is an OPM classic by the iconic Megastar Sharon Cuneta. It's a favorite track in singing competitions, karaoke sessions, and impersonation acts which makes it perfect for a Drag Race PH lip sync song. It's also the theme song of a classic movie and TV series with the same title.
