This Art and Fashion Exhibit Aims to Support Children in Ukraine
Arthur Tselishchev’s “Art From a War-Torn Heart” will also feature works from painter Carlo Martin and fashion designer Jerome Lorico
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine early this year, thousands of Ukrainian’s lives have drastically changed. Families have been separated from each other, more than a million citizens have been forced to flee to neighboring countries, and children—one of the most vulnerable groups caught in the crossfire—have been overwhelmingly distraught.
“We are most worried about the children,” said Ukranian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy back in April 2022, during his visit to Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital. “Children are our future. We will fight for every Ukrainian child to return home.”
In support of the children caught in war-torn Ukraine, interior designer and artist Arthur Tselishchev is mounting an art and fashion exhibit tomorrow, July 7, 2022 at North Court in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell.
The exhibit, called Art From a War-Torn Heart, aims to “demonstrate solidarity of the Philippines with Ukraine and its people by raising funds to aid those affected by the war, most especially to the children of Ukraine whose lives are not only afflicted in this present war but will certainly still be distressed in the coming years.
Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit gravely ill children and newborns under the care of Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv. This charity event stands with the call of support for the children of Ukraine and their future President Zelenskyy. Art From a War-Torn Heart will also feature works by Filipino painter Carlo Martin and Filipino fashion designer Jerome Lorico. There will also be selections of monsterras and other plants from PGDbotanique.
Arthur Tselishchev is a Ukrainian artist.
