Ella Pangilinan and Enrique Miranda are officially married! We know you can’t wait to see all the lovely details of this most-awaited event, but we turn our gaze towards one of the most important facets of this wedding—the wedding dress! This very special day deserved a wedding gown that is just as special.
As the first daughter in her family to get married, Ella’s mom Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, offered her wedding gown to Ella. The dress was made by National Artist Pitoy Moreno and is already the perfect dress to mark the occasion.
“I’ve always wanted to wear a terno. I think I’ve always felt most powerful and beautiful in one,” says Ella. She turned to Rajo Laurel to revive her mom’s wedding gown and the rest is history! Having her fondest memories in Rajo’s atelier, Ella knew that Rajo will be able to keep the gown’s essence but still make it fit her personal style.
In an Instagram post, Designer Rajo Laurel took a trip down memory lane as he shared details and snippets of Ella’s gown.

“Who would have thought that this little girl who would accompany her mother Maricel to me as we would draw together on my desk would one day be my bride? What a lovely bride she is indeed!” says Rajo.
The dress featured a stunning terno silhouette with a low back detail. Ornate embellishments surrounded the bodice and back of the gown as it gently flows into a flattering mermaid shape. The sublime gown shows everything we love about Ella’s style. We can’t wait to learn more about the inspiration behind this dress!
