<p>Last November 24 at City of Dreams, <strong>Francis Libiran</strong> celebrated his 25th anniversary as a designer with a fashion gala entitled <em>Sterling</em>. </p><div><br/></div><p>The night began with eager guests excitedly chattering over cocktails about the designer’s milestone and the show that was about to come. In celebrating both the brand and the beauty of Filipino fashion, Francis Libiran’s <strong>Phoenix</strong> collection for his 25th anniversary was inspired by the mythical creature. Francis saw the parallel between the mystifying phoenix and the brand itself, both continuously rising to the occasion and exceeding expectations.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/7b577a2f-1e2e-48b9-a97d-70fb2f997a75_the phoenix collection by francis libiran (7).jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt=""/></span></span></div><p>Francis took to the international stage when he dressed Tyra Banks in 2012. His relationship with the iconic model would land his <em>Hello Kitty</em> couture collection and <em>Creatures of the Night</em> collection features in America’s Next Top Model. Not only did he become a name known and spoken by the fashion connoisseurs of the world, but he also began dressing stars from Hollywood.</p><div><br/></div><p>While his <em>Phoenix</em> collection is a true testament to his devotion for Filipino fashion and his timelessness as a designer, the night also showed how he has always stayed true to his advocacies.
