Beginning August 31, the 79th Venice Film Festival kicks off the fall film-festival season with highly anticipated films and a star-studded red carpet. Celebrities from all over the world including our very own Filipina-American supermodel Kelsey Merritt made their appearances on premieres, after parties, and photo calls.

Kelsey arrived on September 1 and immediately went on shopping in a Chanel boutique in Venice. She got up early the next day to prepare for the red carpet premiere of Tar. She made her first Venice Film Festival appearance in a custom couture gown by Rami Al Ali, jewels from HRH Joaillerie, and a pair of heels from Italian luxury shoe brand Casadei. The pink embroidered gown was photographed well and made a lasting impression on the red carpet.

On her third day in Venice, Kelsey got on a yacht ride with her closest friends. She donned a striped blue button down, a pair of white shorts, and styled it with sunglasses from Carolina Herrera, a bag from Marina Raphael, a belt from The Row, and a stack of gold bracelets from Maison Vir Ven.
