Despite its ghoulish origins, Halloween is that one time a year when people can pull out all the stops and dress up in the most outlandish way. Each spooky soiree has its own themes and gimmicks, whether it be monsters, vampires, or anything based out of fiction. This year, all roads lead to The Opulence Ball, the most-anticipated Halloween ball of the year.

Opulence first captivated Manila in 2019 when it staged “Opulence: Let Them Eat Cake.” The masterminds of the ball, Mond Gutierrez and Ash Rye, re-launches Opulence with an even bigger execution. This year’s theme? The ball will center around mythological creatures and folklore legends.

The star-studded teaser video for Opulence features Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff, Sarah Lahbati, Pia Wurtzbach, Kylie Verzosa, Celeste Cortesi, Julia Barretto, Piolo Pascual, James Reid, and more. In the video, these celebrities donned pieces from Anthony Ramirez, Rajo Laurel, Bonita Penaranda, Martin Bautista, Jerome Lorico, Patty Ang, and Job Dacion.

You can expect these stars to turn up at Opulence in nothing but otherworldly looks! The much-awaited Opulence Halloween Ball will happen on October 31 at the Marquis Events Place in BGC, Taguig City.
