For Fall/Winter 2023, Japanese fashion label Onitsuka Tiger continues to embrace its signature blend of sports, heritage, and innovation. Under a simple moniker, “Urban Layering”, creative director Andrea Pompilio played with the idea of combining high-voltage colors and striking neutrals with Japanese minimalism.

Dressing in layers is a central part of Japanese culture, it was only fitting to have a collection that featured oversized and flowy tailoring constructed with eye-catching volume. Leaning into utilitarian style codes, the collection delivered modern puffer jackets, ultra-oversized shirts, and a number of column type shirt dresses.

All eyes were definitely on the collection and the star-studded front row! Present at the show were Heart Evangelista, Verniece Enciso, Camille Co, Tim Yap, and LA Aguinaldo. They each wore off-the-runway pieces from Onitsuka Tiger’s F/W 2023 collection and they absolutely killed it on the front row.
