In a world where everything from our playlists to our pizza toppings has evolved, it’s no surprise that our taste in beer has changed as well. Enter the latest brew from the masterminds behind some of the country’s most iconic and beloved beers. San Miguel Beer recently unveiled the Cerveza Blanca.
An authentic, locally brewed wheat ale that “harmoniously balances spicy, smoky and fruity flavors,” this is a beer made for a new generation of Filipino drinkers.

Wheat ales are beers are brewed with a good amount of malted wheat which gives the drink a lightness of flavor and smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Cerveza Blanca is made with 100% malt, composed of a combination of barley malt and wheat malt. It’s then blended with with citrus, spices, and coriander to create a unique flavor profile.
Wheat ales are beers are brewed with a good amount of malted wheat which gives the drink a lightness of flavor and smooth, creamy mouthfeel. The Cerveza Blanca was launched at the first TILT // On Tap On Tour, an event that brings together bold and edgy music with a fresh draft beer experience.

The first TILT // On Tap On Tour was held at Izakaya Geronimo. A special food pairing menu was created by Chef Christian Manawis to showcase the flavors of two San Miguel beers fresh from tap: the new Cerveza Blanca and the San Miguel Cerveza Negra, a full-bodied dark lager. This was followed by performances from the Moving Parts Crew, as doors open to the public.
