Summer Palace Unveils New Lobster And Dim Sum Specials
This is a crazy luxe delicious feast!
There is something so classic and luxurious about the pairing of lobsters and dim sum. It is an exquisite pleasure, wherever you are in the world, but especially in the refined setting of Edsa Shangri-La’s Summer Palace, an iconic restaurant famed for its elegant and delectable Cantonese culinary treasures.
This month, Summer Palace introduces two new dining experiences: an innovative lobster menu and exciting dim sum daily pairings.
Crafted by Chef BoonHoe Bun, the lobster lineup features three tantalizing signature dishes. Wok-fried Lobster, Bi Feng Tang Style is a delectable lobster dish cooked in a crunchy layer of garlic and breadcrumbs and studded with chillies and bell peppers.
The succulent Braised Lobster Noodles in Superior Sauce has silky rice noodles complementing the sweet, succulent lobster meat.
The third signature dish is this spectacular Steamed Lobster with Egg White in Spinach Sauce. The lobster feast starts at P4,100.
In addition to the lobster feast, Summer Palace is also introducing paired dim sum creations where you can enjoy two dim sum dishes each day of the week.
On Mondays, for example, the dim sum creations are Deep-fried Glutinous Rice Dumplings with Kurobuta Pork. This goes with the second dim sum creation, Steamed Fish Maw with Chicken Rolls.
On Tuesday, it’s Baked Chicken Pie topped with Baby Abalone paired with Steamed Rainbow Shrimp Dumplings with Foie Gras.
“Our rotating menu allows us to continuously surprise and delight our guests,” shares Chef Andy Liew, Dim Sum savant at Summer Palace. “Each day brings a different pairing to the table, making every visit to Summer Palace a fun and unique culinary adventure.”
The Lobster and Dim Sum menus are served daily for lunch and dinner.
