Metro Benefit Sale: Good Deals, Company, and Food For a Good Cause

In 2021, thousands of Filipinos lost their homes to Typhoon Odette, which has since become of the most devastating typhoons in the country, incurring P51.8 billion in damages—only a close second to 2013’s Typhoon Yolanda. As an immediate response, the ABS-CBN Foundation raised funds through various means including the Isang Daan Sa Pagtutulungan campaign earlier this year.
This April, Metro, in partnership with Vantage Inc., will be holding the Metro Benefit Sale, an eight-day online shopping experience to raise funds for the communities that are still in need of assistance after Odette. Several partner merchants, like Cibo, Antonio’s, Gallery by Chele, and more donated some of their best experiences, products, and packages for the full benefit of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Operation Odette to help rebuild and give back.
The funds will be used to distribute home repair kits to the survivors: 8 pcs GI Sheet 12 Ft., 6 pcs Plywood .5 Thickness, 2 plain Sheet 4x8, 1 Kilo Roofing Nail, and 1 Kilo Ordinary Nail (2 inches). In the gallery below, check out the deals that you can purchase from metrobenefitsale.com.
