For Dr. Bea, this treatment could cause more injuries to our skin and trigger acne breakouts more, saying, “Dermaplaning can cause microtears on your skin, which might lead to more breakouts.” So it goes without saying: don&#x27;t try this without expert guidance.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>2. DIY Dermarollers</strong><strong><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1750915421564pexels-john-tekeridis-21837-14256896.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded" style="width:600px"/></strong>Don’t get us wrong, dermarollers are effective and considered a great collagen-boosting treatment within the microneedling session category. However, if done at home without any professional guidance from an expert could worsen the scars and large pores we want to eliminate. &quot;DIY Dermarollers with the wrong technique could aggravate scars and can cause serious infections with unsterile equipment.” Dr. Bea shared.
