<div><strong>Get that Filter-Like Finish with Dior&rsquo;s New Setting Powders</strong> </div><p>&ldquo;If you apply it, if you touch it, it&rsquo;s like second skin almost. It&rsquo;s very soft, very delicate,&rdquo; Peter Philips declares of the new Dior Forever Nude Matte and Nude Radiant Filters to Metro Magazine. The Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup had been speaking to members of the Asian press about the brand&rsquo;s new setting powders, which have been inspired by the concept of beauty filters, albeit now translated for real life.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1755150300243SnapInsta.to_526695340_18516831172002620_4318337906622120428_n.jpg" style="width: 700px;" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded"></div><p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s got hyaluronic acid in it, so that also helps for the glow, for the luminosity. And at the same time, it takes care of your skin,&rdquo; he continues. Indeed, the new powders have been infused with this powerhouse ingredient, which is known to be able to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, and helps to hydrate the skin and give it that comfortable feeling from morning till night.</p><p>Of course, what is truly interesting about these skincare-makeup hybrids is the finish, which gives the complexion a soft-focus effect Philips describes as a &ldquo;luminous take on mattifying&rdquo;. Not only do the powders set and enhance foundation wear, but their micro-shimmer and perfecting powders that are suspended in a semi-transparent base allow for optimum light reflection on the skin. &ldquo;And that&rsquo;s kind of what you do with a filter. Philips shares that you don&rsquo;t need much and can choose to use it mostly on the T-zone. It can likewise complement dewy foundations, like the Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation, to mattify certain areas and give you that control. He also shares an insider tip. &ldquo;Me personally, I like that [for] the undereye part. If you have bags under your eyes, that stays matte because it reflects the light in a flat way, so it kind of camouflages the imperfections,&rdquo; he says.&nbsp;</p><p>The collection launches with one shade for the Dior Forever Nude Radiant Filter called Luminous, which imbues the skin with a sheer, almost-pearlescent veil. On the other hand, the Nude Matte Filter will have three shades available in the Philippines to suit different skin tones.
