Of this venture, Ashtine, who described herself as frugal, said, “<em>Sobrang</em> important <em>din sa akin ito</em> <em>kasi</em> first time <em>kong pumasok sa</em> business side. And <em>sobrang</em> lucky <em>ko lang din talaga na hindi ko gagawin ito mag-isa</em>,<em> na nu&#x27;ng in</em>-offer <em>po ito sa akin</em>, <em>nag</em>-yes <em>talaga ako kasi</em> another opportunity for me, and at the same time, <em>magle</em>-learn <em>din ako.</em>” </p><p>With her steady rise to fame, following her first lead role, Ashtine is considered one of the most promising new-gen leading ladies in showbiz today. She got her biggest break in the series <em>Mutya Ng Section E</em> as the tough and resilient Jayjay. They have a palpable chemistry, so we were wondering what it is like for her to work with him. We asked if she’s still planning to pursue a career as a P-Pop idol, and she told us, “<em>Siguro kapag sa </em>P-Pop idol, <em>siguro ngayon wala na sa akin ’yun</em>, <em>pero gusto ko pa rin mag</em>-perform <em>talaga</em>. <em>Nami</em>-miss <em>ko ’yung </em>performing <em>sa harap ng maraming tao kasi iba rin ’yung</em> fulfillment <em>at ’yung saya na nararamdaman ko ’pag ’yun ang ginagawa ko</em>.” Ashtine also shared that even though she may not be part of any girl group now, she would still like to pursue her career as a solo artist and singer.
