Rain&#x27;s <em>Love At First Spike </em>castmates (Emilio Daez, Reign Parani, Sean Tristan, Dylan Yturralde, Andi Abaya, Sky Quizon, Jude Hinumdum, Lance Reblando, Bong Gonzales, Binsoy Namoca, and Drei Sugay) were also present to celebrate the milestone with her. Rain said, “I got a personal coach <em>talaga</em>, Coach Jade Riccio... <em>Ang dami kong natutunan</em>. <em>Alam ko naman</em> I have a voice. <em>Pero</em> I know to myself <em>na</em> I can improve more. <em>Kaya</em> I took lessons.” <em> </em></p><p>Something she discovered about herself when she was inside the <em>Pinoy Big Brother </em>house was that she could write songs. To entertain themselves inside the house, Rain and her fellow housemates dabbled in songwriting. &quot;Before that, I never wrote a song. So, I didn&#x27;t know I could,&quot; she said. &quot;And then, <em>nadala ko siya </em>outside. Then I recorded some songs. It worked<em>. As a respect, because it was a home-based business, she left her Crocs outside. But then, when she was done with her pampering session, she was surprised to see that her shoes were gone. Upset about what happened, Rain chatted with her album producer, Jeremy G, and told him how annoyed she was with what happened to her. He told Rain, “Okay, use that feeling and let&#x27;s write a song.“</p><p style="text-align:left">&quot;I used it. And, it worked,&quot; Rain shared. “It&#x27;s a funny story. <em>Nanakaw po &#x27;yung</em> Crocs <em>ko</em>.“ That incident made her sentimental. She added, “I was so sad. <em>Kasi</em> that was the first thing I bought when I received the money after everything. It was the first thing I bought for myself. So, it was kinda sentimental to me. So, I was like, <em>Kuya</em> Jeremy, &#x27;I hate being sentimental.&#x27; So, then, he said, &#x27;Okay, write a song about that day. When she writes, her ideas just flow—long and raw. But turning the lyrics into a structured song that everyone would love to sing—that’s something that requires hard work. </p><p>As they say, “When it rains, it pours.“ And in Rain&#x27;s case, she&#x27;s been showered with talent, and she has channeled that by pouring her heart and soul out through relatable songs.
