From staying up late watching MYX Mo reruns with her siblings to now being one of <strong>MYX</strong>’s newest VJs, Kring’s rise is rooted in a genuine love for music, a strong sense of self, and the grit to chase something bigger.</p><p>Before stepping in front of the camera, Kring worked in communications for a non-profit. But even then, she felt a pull toward something more dynamic. “There’s always something in me that thinks I should be doing something more. Armed with experience from hosting campus events and community shows, Kring brought both polish and personality to her audition.</p><p>“I have the necessary skills… I know how to interact, how to interview. And I love music,” she said confidently.</p><p>It wasn’t just talent that got her to where she is now—it was preparation. She brushed up on old MYX episodes, studied different hosting styles, and immersed herself in the local music scene. That attention to detail paid off. What more could she ask for, right? But she also knows there’s so much more to the job than showing up with a mic.</p><p>VJ Kring told <strong>Metro.Style</strong>, “How do I make it more interesting? How do I dig into artists in ways their own content doesn&#x27;t? That’s the challenge.”</p><p>Her taste in music reflects her wide-ranging curiosity. From OPM icons like <strong>Regine Velasquez</strong> to pop stars <strong>Britney Spears </strong>and <strong>Gwen Stefani</strong>,<strong></strong> to K-pop powerhouses <strong>EXO</strong> and <strong>Girls’ Generation</strong>, Kring’s playlists are as lively as she is.
