Warm, relatable, and down-to-earth, he’s among the newest additions to the MYX lineup—a fresh face ushering in a new chapter for the beloved music platform.</p><p>Though soft-spoken, Ozzie is no stranger to the camera. He first stepped into the spotlight as a UAAP courtside reporter, where he found his rhythm as a communicator. He dove into research, especially on the OPM scene, which he’s still getting to know more deeply. That curiosity and openness are part of what makes him easy to root for.</p><p>Long before the camera ever rolled on him, Ozzie was already a fan of the platform. He remembers watching MYX Daily Top 10 with his dad, a ritual that shaped his early love for music. Whether it’s <strong>Zedd</strong>, <strong>Galantis</strong>, and <strong>Khalid</strong>, or the laid-back vibes of<strong> Rex Orange County </strong>and <strong>Jungle</strong>, Ozzie’s listening habits are a mix of energetic beats and chill anthems. “I’ve had plenty of ears,” he said with a smile.</p><p>As he settles into the VJ role, Ozzie is embracing the challenges that come with it. Learning the ins and outs of various artists and groups can be overwhelming, but it’s a challenge he welcomes. </p><p>He especially enjoys the interviews that unfold with ease—the kind of conversations that feel more like catching up with a friend than a job. Local star <strong>Maymay Entrata </strong>tops his list for her energy and presence. Internationally, his dream is a conversation with <strong>BLACKPINK’s Jennie</strong>. He admires both artists for their confidence and strong personalities.</p><p>Even with television evolving and digital platforms taking the lead, Ozzie believes in MYX’s place in the modern media landscape. “Even though TV is less dominant now, digital makes us more accessible.
