Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7 named Ricardo Cadavero (aka Cardong Trumpo) its Grand Winner during &quot;The Final Showdown&quot; on June 22 at Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Parañaque. ABS-CBN COO for Broadcast Cory V. Vidanes proclaimed Ricardo the winner with 99.5% of the votes. PGT judges Freddie M. Garcia (FMG) and Kathryn Bernardo then awarded a teary-eyed Ricardo the P2 million cash prize. Upon receiving his award, host Robi Domingo asked him, &quot;Tatay, ano&#x27;ng umiikot sa puso at isipan mo ngayon?&quot; Emotional, he said, &quot;Pangarap ko lang po na &#x27;yung isang kilong bigas magkasya lang sa tatlong beses sa isang araw pero sobra-sobra itong binigay niyo sa&#x27;kin. He performed a series of stunts, showcasing his razor-sharp skills in spinning the traditional wooden toy on his fingertip, atop a metal stick attached to a spinning tray, along a thread, on the edges of a round metal frame, and on a levitating platform. For his performance&#x27;s finale, he pulled out a huge trumpo and made it spin on the palm of his hand. <div></div>The performance wowed the crowd. PGT judge Donny Pangilinan kept his comment short yet powerful, saying, &quot;Lahat sumisigaw ng pangalan mo. You are a star. Ito na lang po masasabi ko, &#x27;Tay, PGT, Pilipinas Got Trumpo.&quot; PGT judge Eugene Domingo was also in awe of Cardong Trumpo&#x27;s &quot;excellent&quot; performance. She said, &quot;Malinaw naman na sa simula palang, talagang naghahanap na kami ng kakaiba at maipagmamalaking talentong Pilipino. With all due respect, sa palagay ko, nahanap na. He has earned the respect and admiration of the judges and the audience since he first set foot onstage to perform. And it wasn&#x27;t only about the talent itself, it was also about the heart, sincerity, and dedication he showed with every performance. When asked how he felt about the opportunity to show his talent through PGT, he told FMG, &quot;Sobra-sobrang saya. Walang mapagsidlan ang kagalakan, Sir, na maging bahagi dito sa isa sa pinakamalaking TV show, sa Pilipinas Got Talent.&quot; Describing his unique talent and own brand of entertainment, Cardong Trumpo shared, &quot;Ito pong aking ipapakita, isa po itong tradisyunal na, siguro nakalimutan na, pero bubuhayin ko at bibigyan ko ng isang magandang modelo para sa mga kabataan.&quot; In this day and age, where many kids are more used to playing with gadgets, it&#x27;s heartwarming to see Cardong Trumpo keep the tradition of playing trumpo alive in his own way.  When he met the PGT judges for the first time, he brought Eugene to tears—&quot;Naiiyak ako if I see real talent in front of me,&quot; she said.
