At a height of 3,726 meters (12,224 ft), it is named as the country’s second-highest volcano, next to Mount Kerinci. The beauty of the mountain is said to peak during sunrise, and residing under its caldera is a blue lake (much like Taal Volcano’s in Batangas, Philippines), drawing tourists more eager to explore this wonder.</p><p>In another video posted last June 23, Juliana’s friend raised an appeal, asking the authorities and international media for help. She also shared how the Brazilian tourist prepared to live her dream and explore Southeast Asia: “Juliana was living her dream, backpacking through Southeast Asia. She spent a long time preparing for this, saving money. She planned everything very carefully.
