Held last June 1 at SM North EDSA Skydome, the event solidified this <em><strong>Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11</strong></em> alum’s foray into being a total performer. </p><p>While her talent for dancing may have only recently come to light, she has been interested in singing ever since she was in fourth grade. Hers is a classic Filipino story, as Kolette would perform for her family and loved ones at home or during karaoke sessions. It wasn’t until college that she started joining singing contests, stepping onto bigger stages to share her voice beyond her inner circle.  </p><div><br/></div><div style="text-align:center"><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:700px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1748935291142503073782_18507952990047908_8964201237532822532_n.jpg" style="width:700px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">Photo from @starmagicphils</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>As to why she embraced this talent later in life, she explained, “<em>Kasi wala pa akong</em> confidence <em>sa sarili ko nu’n eh</em>, <em>na ’pag nakakita kasi ako o nakakarinig ako ng mas may magaling pala</em>, <em>mataas ang boses</em>, <em>parang bigla akong</em>… ‘<em>Ay</em>, wait <em>lang</em>, back up <em>muna</em>, <em>sa likod muna ako</em>. Next time <em>na muna ako sa harap</em>.’ <em>Parang ganu’n</em>. So, <em>parang ayaw ko muna</em>, <em>baka matakot ako na ma</em>-reject <em>kapag kunwari sa</em> contest.”</p><p>But now, thanks to the confidence boost from her <em>PBB</em> stint, Kolette has tapped into her facet as a singer with her debut album, “<strong>Sayaw</strong>.” On the process of putting it together, she told <strong>Metro.Style </strong>that she didn’t mind staying up late in the recording studio to perfect every song in the album. “<em>May isang</em> song <em>na ilang beses namin inulit-ulit para lang ma</em>-perfect… Worth it <em>lang</em>, <em>kasi</em> after <em>ng lahat ng hirap na ’yun</em>,<em> ito na</em>. <em>Nag</em>-music listening <em>kami</em>. <em>Du’n ko talaga nasabi na</em> worth it <em>lahat</em>,” Kolette shared. </p><p>Kolette Madelo’s “Sayaw” album also features the following songs: “<strong>Our Love Is Gone</strong>,“ “<strong>Galaw Galaw</strong>,“ “<strong>Sasamahan Ka (Araw-Araw)</strong>,“ and “<strong>Keep Up</strong>.“<strong></strong></p><div><br/></div><div style="text-align:center"><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:700px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1748935488824503316066_18507953098047908_4018978198529569504_n.jpg" style="width:700px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">Photo from @starmagicphils</span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>At her album launch and fan meet, Kolette finally transformed herself into a performer. “First time <em>ko lang po talagang gagawin ’yung sayaw at may kanta</em>,” she shared, ahead of the event. “So <em>gusto ko pong </em>perfect, <em>’yun talagang masasabi ko na nabigay ko naman ’yung</em> best <em>ko</em> <em>at</em>, feeling <em>ko</em>, satisfied <em>naman ’yung mga bumili ng</em> tickets.” </p><p>Kolette did not disappoint, as the hashtag #KOLETTEAlbumLaunch made it among the top trending topics on X. From her hair and makeup looks to her outfits to her performances and stage presence, <em>PBB</em>&#x27;s “Ma-cute-lit na Raketera from General Santos” has now established herself as a multifaceted artist.</p><p>While Kolette now pursues her passion for singing and dancing, ultimately, her goal is to become a total performer like her idol, Sarah Geronimo.
