Chace Crawford just turned 40, and it seems the ageless Gossip Girl heartthrob had a blast celebrating his birthday with model Kelsey Merritt.

On Instagram Stories, alongside reposts of birthday greetings for him, he shared a mirror selfie with Kelsey, showing their matching all-black ensembles. This was followed by a photo of Kelsey holding a round cake with silver "4" and "0" candle toppers and a "Happy birthday darling" dedication on it.

The two have been spotted together on several occasions, and eagle-eyed netizens would even connect their social media posts to find out if they were together.

Now, the guessing game is over, with Chace himself posting a photo of and with Kelsey on his Instagram account. They're yet to appear on each other's Instagram feeds, but those Instagram Stories posts from Chace are enough to confirm this relationship and put an end to those dating rumors.

Chace and Kelsey first sparked dating rumors when netizens learned they followed each other on Instagram.

January 2025

They were seen out and about together, going for a coffee run, in Los Angeles. Within this month, Chace and Kelsey separately posted photos from a vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico; although there were no photos of them together, fans and netizens were quick to connect that they were traveling together.

April 2025

This was an eventful month for the couple.

Kelsey attended Ralph Lauren's Fall 2025 show in New York. The day after, she and Chace were photographed on the streets of NYC, turning heads as they kissed. Days later, the two watched a New York Knicks vs. Detroit Pistons game. This sighting was followed by a couple more, and they looked stylish as a duo each time.

A fashion muse, Kelsey was also invited to Tiffany & Co.'s "Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder" high jewelry collection event at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. But she did not attend alone—Chace was an esteemed guest, too! This fashion event marked their first public appearance together at an event—what a way to hard-launch their relationship!

The two also attended the birthday party of producer Will Malnati.

"We wanted the occasion to feel like a celebration, a get-together, rather than an event," bride Reiny Vergara said, recalling her intimate, dreamy destination wedding in Iceland. For Reiny and Daniel Santos, who love traveling, it was a no-brainer to tie the knot in a place that summed up their passion and who they are as a couple.

"We’ve always wanted to have a wedding that’s relaxed, rustic yet romantic, to be one with nature, nothing too structured—even the ceremony," added Reiny. Their wedding venue, Búðir, was Daniel's choice. Amidst the stunning views in this hamlet stands Búðakirkja, a small wooden church built in 1848. "He loved how the church was nestled in breathtaking landscapes and the simple yet unique design of the church," Reiny said, explaining why her husband fell in love with their venue.

"We’ve always dreamed of tying the knot and celebrating with our loved ones in an idyllic place outside the city. Discovering a new country, catching the northern lights, and just being ready to be surprised by what the land of fire and ice had to offer seemed to be the perfect adventure and time for us to say our I dos," Reiny told Metro.Style.

Reiny and Daniel got engaged a year and a half ago, and the excited couple immediately gathered inspiration to form their ideal wedding. While they had a great time on their big day, with photos so dramatic they look cinematic, Reiny also shared that there are many steps to take to reach their dream destination wedding. It took them about seven months to prepare for their ceremony.

Their preparations, this bridechilla said, included: "From learning how a foreigner or tourist can get married there to applying all the requirements, booking all the venues and suppliers, buying and packing all the items you need, and the legal processes you need to do in Iceland." Thankfully, they have supportive family and friends who have no qualms going along with their "crazy ideas"—that just made the whole process fun and fulfilling.

The process is tedious, costing them time, money, and effort, but the results? Priceless.

"It was a blend of our personalities, the things we enjoy, and the people we love," Reiny mused.

In line with their wedding's relaxed mood, this adventurous couple kept their outfits simple. Daniel wore a gray button-down, a gray trench coat, and a pair of khaki pants. On the other hand, his bride wore a minimalist yet chic off-shoulder A-line dress with ruched detailing on the long sleeves. With the harsh temperature in Iceland, some of Reiny's photos show her layering her bridal dress with a fuzzy shawl and an oversized jacket.

The dress I used in Iceland is not my dream dress," Reiny admitted. "But I had to match my look with the location and weather. I opted for a dress that had a streamlined design, which would contrast with the rugged landscapes of Iceland. It had to have enough volume to move with the wind and allow me to wear my UNIQLO HEATTECH underneath. I chose something with long sleeves to keep me warm, but also had a flattering silhouette and design."

We asked Reiny what she considers the best part of their wedding. She thinks it's the mere fact that they survived the snow, rain, and gusty winds during their wedding day. Letting nature do its wonderful thing and going with the flow, where the wind took them, ultimately gave them the best experience they could have ever imagined. Cold and rain-drenched, this ideal destination wedding may not have had what many would consider the ideal weather for a wedding. But, at the end of the day, it was about evoking and embracing emotions—creating genuine memories and not overthinking how to perfect them.

"When I walked down the aisle and faced the altar with my (then) soon-to-be-husband, it was as if everything around us was a blur. What will matter is that moment, so don’t forget that while you are in the process of preparing for everything. Whatever happens, that exact time while you are being wed will be perfect," Reiny reflected.
