And netizens are obsessed with a new cover of a song from the American animated musical fantasy film: <strong>Bada</strong> of the OG South Korean girl group<strong> S.E.S.</strong>,<strong></strong> channeling the character Rumi by singing &quot;<strong>Golden</strong>&quot; by <strong>Huntr/x</strong>.</p><p>The comments section in the post of the 45-year-old artist is flooded with praises for her cover, celebrating how the vocalist of the first-generation female K-pop idol group transcends time and still exudes the powerhouse diva she became iconic for. What a golden voice she still has!</p><p>One commenter on Instagram even said that with this cover, it&#x27;s easy to imagine Bada (also known as Sea) as Rumi&#x27;s mom.</p><p>American actress/singer/model <strong>Arden Cho</strong>, who voiced Rumi&#x27;s speaking parts, commented on Bada&#x27;s cover, writing, &quot;Omg BIG!! Her cover&#x27;s title also mentions American singer-songwriter and record producer <strong>Ejae</strong>, who lent Rumi&#x27;s singing voice. </p><p><em>KPop Demon Hunters </em>is about a girl group called Huntr/x, composed of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, whose mission is to protect a magic barrier known as the Honmoon, which prevents demons from entering the human world. In the story, demons prey upon humans, feeding their souls to their king, Gwi-Ma. So, heroes in the form of a trio arose to defend humans. As described by Celine (voiced by Yunjin Kim and Lea Salonga for the singing parts), a previous hunter who raised Rumi, these heroes are &quot;born with voices that could drive back the darkness. Singing songs of courage and hope. But Hunters are more than warriors. Our music ignites the souls and brings people together. With this connection, the first Hunters created a shield to protect our world, the Honmoon. Every generation, a new trip of Hunters is chosen to fulfill our ultimate duty. A barrier so strong it is impenetrable, that will keep demons and Gwi-Ma from our world forever, the Golden Honmoon.&quot;</p><p><em></em>Interestingly, Bada&#x27;s group, S.E.S., is also composed of three members, including Eugene and Shoo. And even more noteworthy, netizens realized, is how one of those legendary predecessor trios in the film, the Sunlight Sisters, could have been easily inspired by S.E.S. We see the resemblance, too! </p><p>Now, how nice it would be for S.E.S. to do a group cover inspired by the buzzworthy movie?!
