Two giant networks. 119 days. 20 celebrity housemates. 50 duos. 22 houseguests. Big 4 Duos. One Big Winner Duo.

It was a collab we never knew we needed.

It was truly a phenomenal, “one for the books” season with the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition that centered on duos to highlight the show’s spirit of collaboration.

For the very first time, a historic collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA—once touted as rival networks—introduced us to 20 celebrity housemates armed with their own strengths, charms, weaknesses, and real-life challenges.

The result was a rollercoaster ride of emotions that viewers deeply related to.

In this edition, we witnessed many heartwarming stories and pivotal moments. A viral argument between two popular housemates. A controversial social media figure’s redemption. A singer who has come out as bisexual. A breakup on national TV. A cheerful LGBTQIA+ content creator whose breadwinner role has taken a toll on him. A seemingly gentle and optimistic person who is weighed down by emotional losses in the family.

The viewers and followers undoubtedly saw themselves, at some point, in each of the housemates’ struggles in and out of Kuya’s house.

A whole new pop culture phenomenon was also born right out of this edition, with social media platforms populated with various creative, engaging short-form video edits featuring the beloved housemates. This PBB edition also contributed to the resurgence of OPM songs, which were mostly used in the video edits of the housemates. Even social media icon Erwan Heussaff, caught in the crossfire of the housemates’ issues, joined in on the PBB viral moment and created a reel that made obvious references to the things that are happening inside the PBB house.

Marcus Vinuya, Business Unit Head of PBB, shared with Metro.Style what he thinks made this edition a highly successful one.

“It’s a season of many firsts for PBB in its 20 years. This is the first time we collaborated with GMA for this format—something that a lot may think would not be possible. It’s the first time that housemates had to be in duos, so the content was very rich in terms of dynamics in finding their final duos. But it’s still the key ingredient of casting that made people talk about the show. The camaraderie that was formed among the 20 housemates was perceived to be positive and authentic, and viewers resonated with their personal stories as well as the friendship that was formed and evolved in the house,” Marcus remarked.

He also talked about the other success markers and indicators of this edition, saying, “This season had that water cooler effect among viewers. There was a new audience from GMA, and we still had the former fans of the show, and still had the same amount of engagement on social media, and talked about the happenings in the episodes. The show had a lot of viral moments that catapulted this season to be one of the most successful editions.”

“A lot of brands tied up with the show, and they saw potential in tapping into the housemates’ reputation and audience perception. The projects of ex-housemates, even after being evicted, are markers that this batch of housemates was well-loved and each is worthy to be given breaks in the industry,” Marcus continued, emphasizing the strength of the chosen housemates.

Indeed, the housemates of this batch are well-loved, so much so that even with the duo component, each of the personalities shone, and the duo dynamics made PBB a riveting watch.

Here, Metro.Style presents the PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition duos who have, as housemate Ralph de Leon put it, “shared happy, shared sad… shared anything” moments with.

Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo

Big Winner Duo: BreKa

“Kami ang BreKa. Puso ang panlaban, hindi matitinag kailanman.”

BreKa, the duo of actor-model Brent Manalo and content creator-actress Mika Salamanca, emerged as the Big Winner duo, with a history-making triumph in the first-ever PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition. Throughout their journey in PBB, the twosome’s close friendship, as well as their comfort and ease with each other, were evident.

Also known as the “selfless duo,” their big hearts shone brightly in the acts of sacrifice they intended to do. Brent earned a Golden Seat for his mom during “The Big Carnival Concert” episode, but chose to give it to Mika instead so she could have the opportunity to have a video call with her mom. In addition, BreKa expressed their willingness to give up their Big 4 Duo spot for ShuKla (Shuvee Etrata and Klarisse De Guzman).

Having completed the tough job of fighting for their Big 4 spot in all of the Big Jump challenges, Mika thinks their duo’s strength is endurance.

“Strength po siguro namin ni Brent—endurance. With that, na-e-endure rin namin ‘yung isa't-isa. Kasi, sa duo namin, feeling ko… ako po, personally, kung iba 'yung ka-duo ko, hindi ako matatagalan kasi sobrang emotional ko. Same goes with Brent. Feeling ko, feeling niya kapag iba 'yung naka-duo niya, hindi niya maipapakita ‘yung siya masyado. Naiintindihan namin kasi para kaming nananalamin sa isa't-isa talaga,” Mika explained.

On the other hand, Brent attributes their duo’s strength to their maturity.

“I guess, 'yung maturity namin pareho. Mika, I would say, she’s very intelligent, also emotionally. Not just sa utak lang. She knows how to handle kung anuman ‘yung presented to her. I would say the same for me. We also don’t back down. Meron kaming paninindigan,” Brent declared.

As for what they’d like BreKa to be remembered for, the Big Winner duo would like to anchor their journey on selflessness.

“Huwag niyo na pong alalahanin 'yung mga tasks na ginawa namin kasi hindi kami masyadong magaling doon,” Mika laughed.

“Pero alalahanin niyo na lang po ‘yung puso namin sa tuwing ginagawa po namin ‘yung mga tasks. Kung para saan po namin siya ginagawa at kung para saan po kami lumalaban which is para po sa mga taong mahal namin. Lahat po 'yun, nanggaling sa puso namin. Gusto ko pong maalala ng mga tao ‘yung puso namin,” Mika thoughtfully said.

“Right now, I think we‘re coined as the selfless duo. And parang gusto namin ‘yun panindigan even sa outside world. We're going to continue showing people that we can make sacrifices without feeling like we're losing,” Brent concluded.

2nd Big Placer Duo: RaWi

“Kami ang RaWi. Lalaban nang matatag na may pusong nagliliyab.”

RaWi, the formidable duo of actors Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley, solidified their brotherhood and friendship by deciding early on that they would be each other’s Final Duo. Their close bond was formed as they navigated their strange yet fascinating life inside Kuya’s house, confiding their thoughts, pieces of advice, and feelings.

Both from Cavite and possessing the surname De Leon, the pair was known for their fighting spirit, for being task slayers, as well as for being trustworthy and dependable friends that housemates can rely on. Likewise, whenever Ralph and Will are together, fun and laugh-out-loud moments are bound to happen.

During The Big Night, Will shared how RaWi became friends through a message he delivered to Ralph.

“Noong una, akala ko hindi tayo magva-vibe talaga. Nagbago siya noong nagkaroon tayo ng usapan out of nowhere tungkol sa games. Doon ko nalaman na mayroong common denominator. Hindi ka magsalita or magsalita ka, ipinaparamdam mo talaga na nandoon ka bilang isang kaibigan. 'Yun 'yung na-appreciate ko sa iyo. No judgment. Legit 'yun 'yung naramdaman ko. Naramdaman ko na itong taong ito, kahit nandito tayo sa loob ng competition, isa ito sa mapagsasabihan ko ng problema ko,” Will confessed.

Ralph, on the other hand, thinks RaWi’s strength stems from the fact that they have similar traits.

“Will and I share the same mindset, and that’s important. We were always on the same page when it came to our tasks and how we approached the rest of our stay. Kasi alam namin na final stretch na ‘yun. Hindi na namin sasayangin ‘yung mga opportunities na ibinigay sa amin. Nabansagan pa nga kami na over-competitive kasi nga gustong-gusto talaga naming umabot sa final stage—sa Big Night. Our dynamics talaga, our friendship that we've built throughout our whole stay, is something that I really value dearly. Alam kong kahit ngayon, kahit nasa labas na kami, mame-maintain pa rin namin,” Ralph shared.

When asked how they would want RaWi to be remembered, Will gave a brief but meaningful response: “'Yung heart talaga e. Palaban. Competitive,” he stated proudly.

3rd Big Placer Duo: CharEs

“Kami ang CharEs. Ang Chalentado Eslayable Duo patungo sa panalo.”

CharEs, the popular duo of model-actress Charlie Fleming and star content creator Esnyr, may look cute and charming, but their maturity is also top-notch. They’re young, but they faced tough battles and challenges inside Kuya’s house and in the outside world.

The duo of these bubbly breadwinner Bisaya beauties was formed out of what’s left with the remaining housemates, and while it’s not a duo made by choice, it felt like it was a duo brought together by fate.

CharEs was also an early favorite of the housemates and the house challengers, giving them a landslide win and voting them off as the first duo to score a Big 4 spot. Later on, they also earned a win during one of the games in the One Million Vote Challenge for the Big 4 Duos.

Esnyr looked back on their journey as CharEs and shared what made their duo strong: “Siguro 'yung strength namin ni Charlie as CharEs is same kami ng ipinaglalaban talaga. Same kami ng fighting spirit at klaro talaga sa lahat na gusto talaga naming manalo. Ever since the first day, we've been vocal about it na gusto namin na i-represent talaga ‘yung mga taga-probinsya, mga breadwinners of course, and sa LGBTQIA+ community namin,” Esnyr thoughtfully said.

He added, “Strength din namin is hindi kami pareho ng individual strengths. Kasi mas nadi-divide po kami sa mga tasks. May mga tasks na about puzzles and analyzation and ibibigay ko ‘yun sa kanya. Kapag may mga tasks na about balancing or what, bigayan lang po talaga kami. May kanya-kanya kaming strengths at together, talagang naba-balance kami, at we fight for the same goal as a duo.”

Charlie then shared with Metro.Style how she would like CharEs to be remembered.

“A lot of the fans see us in a lot of different ways. Sa lahat ng ginagawa namin, may energy talaga kami. From morning to night, tatawa kami, may energy kami—'yan 'yung dinadala namin to the table,” Charlie began, showcasing her signature beautiful smile.

“I hope the people acknowledge breadwinners more, and I hope they see how much they give. I hope they see how much nag-e-effort sila para sa pamilya nila para sa mga tao at sa family nila. And really just give light to them and let them know that they're not alone. That's something that we want them to know,” she declared, proud and happy of what CharEs represents.

4th Big Placer Duo: AZVer

“Kami ang AzVer. Laging aahon, malakas man ang alon.”

The rise of AZVer, the duo of actress AZ Martinez and actor River Joseph, has been nothing short of dramatic and cinematic. Each voted as the least desirable Kapuso duo and Kapamilya duo partner, AZVer took it as a challenge to show their strengths and how they also have what it takes to be a contender for the Big 4.

The AZVer duo isn’t shy when it comes to being in touch with their emotions, which some took as a weakness. In a satisfying episode of the third Big Jump Challenge, AZVer displayed their impressive strategy as well as endurance and quiet yet powerful collaboration. As the two stood under the sun and rain for almost six hours while carrying blocks, the duo emerged as the winners of the second Big Jump Challenge, which secured them a highly coveted Big 4 spot.

Viewers took note of how the duo prayed before, during, and after the challenge, earning them the moniker—the “Pause and Pray” duo.

AZ shared her thoughts about their duo, saying, “I think pinaka-strength namin was we had a common ground, which was fighting for our dads, for our families, and sa pag-pray namin. Grabe, sobrang happy ako to see that River has strong faith. Kasi ako, I grew up—especially ‘yung mom ko—sobrang prayerful niya talaga. Lagi niyang sinasabi, kahit anuman ang mangyari, ipag-pray mo lang ‘yan and always think about being a blessing to other people. Tapos si River, sobrang selfless niya. Because of him, I found the strength and lumakas din ‘yung faith namin. We pray together kapag may challenges. We're just there for each other. Parang pamilya talaga kami ni River. Siya talaga ‘yung older brother ko [sa house,]” AZ remarked.

Meanwhile, River mentioned how he and AZ complemented each other as a duo.

“I feel like she also really brought out my competitive side while I was able to help her control her emotions more and to focus on why we're doing what we do. We also have a common ground, which was really prayer or faith talaga and siguro our motivation to do our tasks for our fathers, who both passed away already,” he said.

The actor also pensively shared how he hopes AZVer's duo would continue to inspire the public.

“I want them to remember to never give up talaga. And even if you're being bashed, even if you're looked down upon, or even if you're being ranked last, don't let that get to you. Just keep fighting. Fight for what you believe in—focus on that, remember to always have faith, and to reach for your dreams no matter what obstacles may come your way. Just keep going,” he meaningfully concluded.

These are just some of the iconic lines from the different housemates in an absolutely iconic season that are just so fitting to mark the 20th year of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).

It’s been a wild, exhilarating 119-day ride of PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition, and the craze is not yet over even after The Big Night.

This PBB edition is considered historic and unique since it marked the first collaboration between the two giant networks, ABS-CBN and GMA. The season began with 20 housemates—all promising Kapamilya and Kapuso stars who were each armed with their own goals, dreams, and reasons for participating in the reality show.

The PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition put a twist by pairing housemates as a Kapamilya-Kapuso duo that viewers can choose to save to continue their journey inside the house. During the show’s run, 50 duos were paired and rooted for by loyal followers and avid viewers.

The result was an exciting, messy, chaotic, dramatic, twist-filled, challenging, triumphant, and heartwarming journey that bonded the colorful characters and personalities of the housemates in this PBB edition.

Among all the talented, lovable, skilled, and strategic housemate duos, the tandem dubbed the “Selfless Duo,” BreKa (Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca)—or MikBrent, as coined by their fans—was ultimately crowned the Big Winner Duo of the intensely competitive PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition.

The good-looking and gentle-hearted BreKa duo finished first among the Big 4 Duos that include RaWi (Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley), CharEs (Charlie Fleming and Esnyr), and AzVer (AZ Martinez and River Joseph). BreKa received 33.03% of the votes from the public and won P1 million each as the grand prize.

Here, Metro.Style lets you in on some fast facts and exclusive conversations with this season’s Big Winner Duo.

Brent Manalo: "Ang Gentle-linong Heartthrob ng Tarlac"

Mysterious, pensive, and someone who gives off a gentle countenance, Brent Manalo, a self-confessed introvert, pulls off a major life twist by being one-half of the Big Winner Duo of the PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition.

Often spotted quietly reading a book in the cozy corners of Kuya’s house, Brent’s quiet moments dramatically turned into a big, loud winning moment when he faced the crowd during The Big Night.

Before he became a PBB housemate, Brent was a studious student who graduated valedictorian at Wellspring High School and cum laude at De La Salle University in Manila, armed with a degree in B.S. Advertising Management. He’s also a fashion influencer and content creator who caught the eye of starmaker Johnny Manahan (Or Mr. M). This led to him being invited by Mr. M to audition for Star Magic. While the pandemic impacted his budding career, he was able to redirect his energy toward creating YouTube lifestyle content. He made his acting debut in the iWant series Ampalaya Chronicles, followed by roles in The Broken Marriage Vow and Beach Bros.

For the chronically online, Brent also earned massive attention when he appeared in fellow housemate and content creator Esnyr’s High School Heartbreak series as the cute ex of Precious before entering the PBB house.

We asked Brent what motivated him to join PBB, and the actor got candid. “Actually, at first, I didn't want to join PBB. I knew back then that once you join PBB, it’s either you’re going to make it or you’re going to break your entire career. I guess, I just really wanted to introduce myself to people. The entire point of me joining is really for self-discovery and to introduce myself to more people,” Brent shared.

For an introvert like Brent, he admitted being a housemate was quite an adjustment for him.

“The hardest part for me was having to live with 19 other people because I’ve lived alone for 10 years ever since I was 16. So, it’s my first time ever. Even having a roommate, because back in my family home, I also had my own room. So having a lot of people was the biggest adjustment,” he smiled shyly.

From a “soloista” to someone who was able to survive living with different individuals and to finally thriving as a Big Winner, Brent has truly come a long way.

Today, Brent is living life in the outside world with an important lesson from Bahay ni Kuya.

“[I’ve learned] that it’s okay to be vulnerable. Because I’ve always been really shy about showing my emotions or even crying. I remember during the first few days of my stay at PBB, I would try to hide it. When I would cry, it was really on the bed. But I guess it was really okay for male housemates [to be open] with their emotions. I think I took that as something that I shouldn’t be shy about. Kuya encouraged me [during my time in the] confession [room],” he pensively stated.

Brent will be seen next in the upcoming film The Four Bad Boys and Me, which is set to be released on July 31 at ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

Mika Salamanca: "Ang Controversial Ca-babe-len ng Pampanga"

Just when you thought Mika Salamanca’s PBB win was enough of a happy pill, especially for her loyal followers, things took hilarious turns when her kiddie videos, either singing or acting, went viral online promptly after The Big Night.

Mika gleefully addressed the funny videos that have been surfacing online in an exclusive chat with Metro.Style.

“''Yung mga viral videos ko po na lumabas online, 'yung ‘Mika Liit’ na tinatawag ng mga netizens po, are mga old videos ko po simula bata na baka ipinapadala po namin sa mom ko at saka sa mga tita po namin abroad. Kasi lumaki po ako sa lola ko. Before po, hindi pa po uso talaga 'yung Facebook, Skype and stuff. Ang pinakanagagawa na po namin was magpadala ng videos sa mom ko. So 'yun po ‘yung way namin para maipakita sa kanya ‘yung mga performances ko na hindi niya nakikita. Ang ginagawa po namin, nire-record po namin siya sa labas ng bahay namin,” she shared, laughing.

The virality of her “Mika Liit “childhood videos is like a poetic, heartwarming turn from experiencing the traumatic past of being bashed online during the pandemic for breaking quarantine protocols in Hawaii. Today, the digital world is drowning in content of Mika’s cute videos from childhood, her redemption arc in PBB, and finally being proclaimed as part of this edition’s Big Winner Duo.

PBB was destined to be a part of Mika’s colorful life journey. She auditioned for the reality show when she was just 15, but did not make it at that time. She then finally found her place as an influencer and YouTuber who gained attention for her lifestyle updates and song covers. Though seemingly stable with her content creator life, Mika shared her thoughts on what moved her to join this PBB edition.

“I would say na pangarap ko po talaga siya simula bata. Pero ngayon po, mas nagkaroon at mas nag-make sense po siya para sa akin. Mas kailangan ko po siya ngayon dahil ‘yun nga po, sobrang daming controversies na pinagdaanan. 'Yung mismong goal po talaga is, one thing po is pangarap ko siya, pero what's more important for me was to redeem myself,” Mika confessed.

Though she willingly submitted herself to an audition, she admitted it wasn’t easy to be in the house.

“Pinaka-biggest challenge siguro na na-encounter ko sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya was makipag-connect. Kasi bubbly ako, yes, pero kasi iba kasi kapag kailangan mo nang tumira sa isang bahay kasama ‘yung maraming tao e. 'Yung adjustment na pinakamahirap siguro sa akin doon was humanap talaga ng core ko sa loob ng bahay.

“Although, s'yempre, it's a collaboration. Kailangan mo talaga makisama sa lahat ng nakakasama mo. Pero kahit saang panig ka ng mundo, kahit nasaang position ang buhay mo, kailangan mong magkaroon ng [kung saan ka] comfortable na mga tao sa buhay mo. Doon ako pinakanahirapan. Kung sino talaga ‘yung totoo para sa akin o sino talaga 'yung totoo na makikihalubilo sa akin,” she opened up.

Thankfully, Mika eventually found her core inside the house, and that was what she also found the most rewarding part of her PBB experience.

“Pinaka-rewarding din was ‘yung mga tao nakasama ko. As much as nahirapan akong humanap ng core ko sa loob ng bahay, nahanap ko pa rin sila. And I'd say na lahat ng mga tao nakasama ko doon sa loob ng bahay, may special place sa heart ko,” she thoughtfully said.

“Kasi hawak ko rin, hindi lang ‘yung mga challenges na hinarap namin sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, pati ‘yung mga kwento nila about sa pamilya nila, struggles sa buhay, and sila mismo. So, sila [the housemates] ‘yung pinaka-reward na nakuha ko sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. Sobrang dami kong natutunan sa kanila,” Mika shared.

Mika is currently seen on the GMA primetime series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre and is set to release an album under Star Music.

BreKa: From ‘Selfless Duo’ to ‘Big Winner Duo’

It was a long and challenging—but ultimately rewarding—journey for BreKa to be declared as this season’s winners.

Also known as MEnt during their first time as a duo and MikBrent as a PBB ship (relationship formed by avid fans), BreKa is a testament to the power of redemption.

From the ashes of Brent being named as a least desirable Kapamilya duo partner and Mika receiving a red flag for seemingly being an inauthentic housemate, who would have thought that they would eventually emerge as the Big Winner Duo?

The two stood out for being the gentle strength and the heart inside the house; they would usually be seen bonding together either in the kitchen, on the couch, or in the garden. The duo, in their selfless nature, even thought of giving up their Big 4 Duo seat and sacrificing it for their good friends ShuKla (Shuvee and Klarisse De Guzman).

For Mika, Brent’s selflessness took her aback. “Si Brent kasi sobrang selfless niya talaga. Kasi noong una, kita mo na mabait naman. And ’yun naman talaga ’yung i-expect mo sa lahat ng taong makasalamuha mo. Mabait sila pero with Brent, kaya niya talagang i-sacrifice even the hardest things and even ’yung mga kailangan niya para sa mga taong malapit sa kanya,” Mika said.

It can be remembered that during “The Big Carnival Concert,” Brent secured a golden seat for his mom but decided to give the win to Mika just so she could have the chance to talk to her mom via a video call. Mika and her mom appreciated Brent’s sacrifice and gesture. It clearly made a mark in Mika’s heart.

Brent, on the other hand, appreciated their duo’s strengths, which he also attributed to Mika’s admirable traits.

“Si Mika, I would say, she’s very intelligent, also emotionally. Not just sa utak lang. She knows how to handle kung anuman ‘yung presented to her,” he began.

One of the surprising things Brent learned about Mika was how she can be easily moved to tears.

“Walang araw talaga na hindi umiyak si Mika. Pero noong naging final duo na kami, kayang-kaya na niya talagang i-handle ang emotions niya. Grabe ‘yung naging growth niya doon sa loob ng bahay. As I’ve mentioned, sobrang iyakin niya at first. Pero towards the end, na-handle na niya nang maayos 'yung emotions niya at mas nare-regulate na niya,” Brent said, still in awe of Mika’s journey.

For Mika, especially since BreKa went through all of the gruelling Big Jump challenges before eventually making it to the Big 4 Duos, she is especially proud of their endurance.

“Strength siguro po namin ni Brent is endurance. And with that, na-e-endure rin namin ‘yung isa't-isa. Kasi sa duo namin, feeling ko… ako po, personally, kung iba 'yung ka-duo ko, hindi ako matatagalan kasi sobrang emotional ko. Same goes with Brent. Feeling ko, kapag iba 'yung naka-duo niya, hindi niya maipapakita ‘yung siya masyado. Kasi nga naiintindihan namin ang isa’t-isa. Para kaming nananalamin sa isa't-isa talaga,” Mika gushed.

We asked what they would like BreKa to stand for and to be remembered for. Brent gave it a long thought and sincerely stated his take.

“Right now, I think we’re coined as the selfless duo. And gusto namin ‘yun panindigan even sa outside world. So, ’yung gagawin namin is we're going to continue showing people that we can make sacrifices without feeling like we're losing,” Brent concluded.

BreKa, the Big Winner Duo that they are, is set to donate their PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition winnings to charity. A selfless act, indeed, that positively impacts people and gives their win a deeper meaning.

As a treat for all the fans and supporters of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Metro.Style chatted with the Big 4 Duos, who shared their thoughts after the historic Big Night.

4th Big Placer Duo AZVer expressed their thoughts about their duo reaching the Big Night.

“Well for me, super overwhelming. Grabe, ito 'yung gabi na hinihintay natin ever since day one, and finally, we were able to reach Big 4. Even though we got fourth place, I'm so happy for us. I'm so proud of AZ and I. When we went out that stage, seeing all our friends, all our loved ones, all the fans, everyone supporting, all the bosses. Grabe, I'm still shocked until now. Grabe, I'm so happy. For me, s'yempre, malungkot na tapos na 'yung season pero for sure, it is just the start of something new,” River Joseph shared.

“Sobrang daming tao at sobrang overwhelmed ako. Honestly, I didn't expect to reach it this far. I never thought na aabot talaga ako. Sobrang na-shock ako. I'm so ‘Oh, my God! Na-shock ako. Seeing all the fans and supporters and wow, sobrang grateful lang talaga ako na nandito. And I'm really happy with the fourth place. Sobrang happy and I'm proud of River. I'm proud of us kasi we really fought,” AZ Martinez exclaimed, clearly excited for what's to come.

3rd Big Placer Duo CharEs, on the other hand, happily shared the first things they’ll do after the show.

“Kumain ng sobra at matulog na sobra-sobra! At siguro po ako, bibisitahin ko po 'yung province ko. Of course, kasi sila po yung dala-dala ko all throughout the season, and I can't wait po na makita ‘yung pamilya ko at makapag-give back sa kanila,” Esnyr Ranollo revealed.

Charlie is looking forward to the happy reunions she’s going to face after the event. “Magkikita-kita kami lahat ng mga ex-housemates and everyone else! We're gonna have a little dinner. I'm so happy because my family actually came here! So nakita ko po sila kanina sa stage and I'll see them very soon,” Charlie said.

The handsome duo of RaWi couldn’t believe how far they’ve come as the show went on, especially when they were announced as the 2nd Big Placer.

“Tumatakbo lang po talaga sa isip namin bago kami i-announce na second big placer, ‘Wow. Hindi po talaga naman in-expect na abot kami sa second placer sa edition na ito. And grabe, sobrang grateful lang po at sobra sobrang pasasalamat,” Will Ashley confessed.

Ralph De Leon reflected on how the show changed and is changing his life, saying, “Actually, hindi pa po nag-sink in sa akin kung gaano siya nagbago outside. Pero inside po talaga, grabe 'yung growth na ibinigay niya sa akin. Iyong ability ko to control my emotions, to control what I feel and process everything that happens so quickly. Feeling ko ‘yun po talaga and how I relate with other people. Staying in that house, sobrang nakatulong po talaga,” Ralph said.

This season’s Big Winner Duo, BreKa, can only express their overwhelming gratitude for their loyal fans.

“Highlight po talaga itong naging Big Winner kami kasi hindi po talaga namin in-expect,” Mika Salamanca said. “Sobrang nagpapasalamat po kami. Kulang po talaga ‘yung salita para i-express kung gaano po kami nagpapasalamat at nagmamahal sa kanila. Mahal na mahal po namin sila.”

Brent Manalo, who’s usually quiet, poured out his heart to thank those who catapulted them to become this season’s Big Winners.

The stars truly aligned last night, July 5, as "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition," the historic collaboration between the two biggest homes of Philippine entertainment—ABS-CBN and GMA—reached its epic finale.

After more than a hundred days of special memories, tasks, and triumphs inside Bahay ni Kuya, and from fifty duos formed throughout the season, only four Final Duos remained standing, ready to finally face the outside world. Their stories of perseverance and 'pagpapakatotoo' were celebrated in a star-studded “PBB Collab” Big Night.

The Big Night kicked off with a high-energy dance number featuring the “PBB Collab” ex-housemates, clad in red and blue, colors that symbolized their groups all season long–red for the Star Magic artists and blue for the Sparkle housemates.

The crowd roared louder when Michelle Dee and Bianca Umali, who both graced Bahay Ni Kuya as special houseguests, lit up the opening prod with their stunning presence.

Meanwhile, the Big Four Duos– CharEs (Charlie Fleming and Esnyr), RaWi (Ralph de Leon and Will Ashley), AzVer (AZ Martinez and River Joseph), and BreKa (Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca)–were shown backstage and isolated in a private room, surprised as they realized the magnitude of the night awaiting them.

Hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee, Alexa Ilacad, Gabbi Garcia, and Mavy Legaspi then took to the stage and welcomed everyone to the historic “PBB Collab” Big Night.

As the energy of the opening numbers settled, the evening shifted to a more heartfelt note with a series of special VTRs dedicated to each Big Four duo. In every challenge faced, every tear shed, and every win achieved on their way to the Big Night, their partners had become their strongest pillars.

These Final Duos stood side by side. No matter how tough the road became, they made it through together. And to celebrate their journey, the Big Night presented the Big Four duos honoring and thanking their partners.

Throughout their time inside Bahay ni Kuya, River became the protective 'Kuya' AZ never expected. “No’ng unang meet natin dito sa bahay, sabi ko sa sarili ko, siguro sumasali ’to sa mga beauty pageants kasi sa look mo, paano mo dalhin ang sarili mo,” River smiled, admitting that he thought AZ was "OA" when she first spoke. He never imagined she’d become one of his best-est friends, until he discovered how much they have in common, like both recently losing their fathers and sharing a deep love for their mothers.

“I saw an AZ who had so much faith, who is a fighter, and never going to give up,” he reflected on his duo's journey. “I’m so proud of you, how much you’ve grown. You kept pushing ‘til the end and always had faith in God. I’m super proud that I was part of your journey also."

And then he promised AZ, “I promise that I’ll always be a big brother to you even outside of this house. I’ll always be there.”

AZ's message to River also showed just how much their bond means to her. "Hindi ko ma-imagine ‘yung journey ko na wala ka. 'Yung table, I can't imagine you not being there." She went on, "Ang laki ng impact mo sa loob ng bahay na 'to. Your story, sobrang inspiring siya sa akin. Because of you, I saw a different perspective in life."

"Nu'ng Tapatan, nilabas mo lahat ng nasa puso mo. You showed 'you' talaga. Nasabi mo na you may have looked weak because you were crying a lot. Pero honestly that was the strongest that I've seen you," shared AZ.

"You always want to be there for other people. You want to fill their cups. I'll always be here to fill yours." She continued, "I promise to always be there when you need someone. I'll always be there to listen to you, like how you listen to me. I'll always be there to have faith in you."

BreKa's journey inside Bahay ni Kuya was all about learning to trust each other and letting their walls come down. Brent opened up about how Mika became his confidante. “You became my best friend in the house. We were honest with each other and we really protected each other,” he shared. “If you feel like things are starting to fall apart, I’ll help you pick up the pieces. Thank you for sharing your heart.”

Mika, on the other hand, talked about how she knew Brent had his own walls, just like her, both of them cautious with their words and actions. "Sa mga pinakamahirap na moments dito sa journey ko sa loob ng bahay, ikaw 'yung nakasama ko, which is 'yung unang task na naging leaders tayo, first eviction, first nomination," she told Brent.

"Kulang na lang pati pagkatao ko bitbitin mo nu'ng panahon 'yun." And then little by little, their walls slowly started to come down as they grew closer. "Slowly nakita namin kung paano ka umiyak."

Meanwhile, CharEs' journey as a duo started with a shared story as breadwinners. "When you first walk at the door, you we're already a familiar face to me," Charlie told Esnyr, explaining how his story resonated deeply with her own experience.

"You allowed me to be more comfortable with my own story. You are one of the most compassionate souls in this house." She appreciated how Esnyr showed his care for everyone, even in simple things like preparing meals for their fellow housemates.

In turn, Esnyr recalled how happy he was to discover a fellow Bisaya in the house when he saw Charlie. He admired her efforts to grow, and said that she has a soft heart behind her striking appearance. He also remembered the One-Shot Wonder Task where Charlie helped the most behind the scenes, even though she was one of the housemates with the least exposure on cam.

Esnyr also thanked Charlie for choosing him as her final duo partner, "No'ng naging Final Duo tayo, sinabihan mo ako na I am your first choice despite the fact na nag-Rank 12 ako. Sobrang vinalidate mo ako." He added, "Pangako, I will be your AteKuys dito a bahay o sa outside world man."

RaWi's brotherhood was already solid from the very start. So when Ralph got the chance to choose his Final Duo, he didn’t think twice about picking Will. He shared that from day one, there was so much about Will that reminded him of himself, especially their being introverts.

Throughout the more than 100 days they spent inside the house, Ralph knew that Will always had his back, and for that, he's thankful. He promised that their friendship wouldn’t end here. "Isang tawag lang nandu'n ako," he told him.

Will also appreciated the friendship Ralph offered. "Hindi ka man magsalita o magsalita ka, pinanaparamdam mong isa kang kaibigan.”

After the journeys of the Big Four Duos were celebrated, the stage came alive once more with a powerful musical collaboration. “PBB Collab” ex-housemate Klarisse De Guzman teamed up with singers from "Tawag ng Tanghalan" and "The Clash."

Keeping with “PBB’s” tradition of highlighting the most talked-about moments of the season via the "uber acting" entries, the "PBB" hosts reenacted the viral “OA” argument between ex-housemates Klarisse and Dustin Yu. Melai transformed into Klarisse, Robi played Dustin, and Gabbi acted as ex-housemate Shuvee Etrata.

Then, a magic act swept across the stage to introduce Donny Pangilinan, the official “Messenger” of the season, bringing in the envelope that carried the final results of the public vote. Viewers had been given one week to cast their votes online, choosing which duo they believed deserved the Big Winner title (BBS) and which pair they wanted to evict from the race (BBE).

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for—the reveal of the final results. The first duo to step back into the outside world was AZ and River's AzVer, as the 4th Big Placer.

The crowd erupted into cheers as AZ and River emerged onstage, overwhelmed by the sea of supporters welcoming them back to the outside world. AZ’s face lit up with pure joy, her eyes wide as she took in the sight of the packed theater, while River couldn’t hide his amazement either. “Parang panaginip,” River said when asked how he was feeling in that surreal moment. Both AZ and River were joined by their mothers onstage. As the 4th Big Placers, AZ and River each received a ₱200,000 cash prize after garnering 8.77% of the total votes.

The excitement soared higher as CharEs was announced as the 3rd Big Placer, earning 22.91% of the total votes. Charlie and Esnyr each took home a ₱300,000 cash prize. Their happiness was infectious the moment they stepped onstage, waving excitedly to the cheering crowd.

Both Charlie and Esnyr took a moment to dedicate their win to each other, to their families, and especially to their fellow BisDaks. “Sa mga Bisayang nanonood diyan, posible na makaabot mo diri,” Esnyr declared, encouraging BisDaks that they, too, can reach the same heights he and Charlie achieved. Charlie added, “Sa mga Bisaya dira, gigugma ko kayo,” which translates to, “Sa mga Bisaya diyan, mahal ko kayo.”

The remaining duos, BreKa and RaWi, were stunned as CharEs was eliminated from the race. To recall, BreKa, RaWi, and even AzVer had all chosen CharEs as their personal bet to become the Big Winner duo in past episodes ahead of the Big Night.

And then finally, RaWi was declared the 2nd Big Placer, earning 25.88% of the total votes and taking home ₱500,000 each. Will was speechless as he tried to take in the moment. “Hindi ko in-expect na makakaabot kami sa ganitong punto ng ‘PBB’ journey namin," was all he managed to say. Beside him, Ralph raised his voice with an empowering message, “Never stop dreaming. Always fight for your dreams."

Back in the holding room, Brent and Mika could hardly believe it when they realized they were the last duo standing, which meant they had just made history as “Pinoy Big Brother’s” first-ever “Big Winner Duo.” The two embraced in shock and happiness as their names were called, officially claiming the grand prize of ₱1 million each after garnering an impressive 33.03% of the total combined votes.

Still stunned as they stepped onstage, Mika tried to express her overflowing emotions, “Hindi po sapat ang salitang masaya at mahal ko kayo at salamat dahil hindi po nu’n ma-e-explain ang nararamdaman ko ngayon.” Meanwhile, the usually reserved Brent couldn’t hold back his tears, as he imparted, “Basta puso ang panlaban, anything is possible.”

ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes and GMA’s Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes awarded the prizes to the Top 2 duos.

Among the surprises of the night was the announcement that the “PBB Collab” ex-housemates will have a fan convention on August 10. It was also revealed that a new season of “PBB Collab” is coming later this year.
