The hotel spans over 1,000 square meters and features 21 rooms, ranging from Standard, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suite, to Family Room, each tailored to guests’ preferences. Horizon Hotel Romblon also accommodates events and large social gatherings in its high-ceiling ballroom, which caters to 100 guests. Depending on the agreement between hotel management and the client, capacity can be extended to up to 150 guests, including the poolside area.</p><div><br id="isPasted"/></div><div><strong>Why “Horizon”?</strong></div><p><strong></strong>Romblon is known for its rich history and dynamic marble factories. And this is where the name of the hotel comes from. Horizon Hotel Romblon&#x27;s owner&#x27;s sister, <strong>Rhoda Montana Bernardo</strong>, recognizes that the primary means of transport to Romblon (sea travel via ships like 2GO) is still one of the challenges for its tourism. </p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded" style="width:527px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1751184336750Romblon.jpg" style="width:527px" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-rounded"/><span class="fr-inner">Scenic views all around</span></span></span>&quot;Actually <em>ang problema lang namin dito is </em>challenging <em>ang papunta rito</em>. <em>Kasi dati meron siyang</em> airport–<em>meron pa naman hanggang ngayon–pero nag stop na kasi ‘yung</em> AirSwift<em> nu’ng nabili siya ng </em>Cebu Pacific.<em> Pero dati kasi </em>Cebu Pacific <em>ang dumadaan dito, kaso ayaw nila, konti lang kasi ang pasahero</em>.”</div><p>Additionally, she expounds that part of the overall experience of visiting Romblon includes riding a ferry or roro, because personally, it gives her the time to relax, suggesting that it’s part of the amazing journey. Riding a ship for 10 hours or so takes a bit of time, yes, but it&#x27;s a chance to disconnect, sleep, read a book, or simply bond with loved ones.</p><p>“<em>Kung ako pupunta ng</em> Romblon, <em>‘di ako sasakay ng eroplano</em>. <em>Kasi mas maganda sa’kin ‘yung barko, kasi nakaktulog ako.
