Cute Coron Cafes

<p>No visit to a new city or town is complete without a visit to its local cafes. At least for me, that is. While I am not a coffee drinker per se, I find joy in discovering little cozy spots to hang out, get a feel of the local neighborhood, sample some locally-made goodies, and just take in the sights. Whether it be in a bustling city or a rural province, there are an abundance of spots to discover. On a recent trip to Coron, Palawan, I discovered three cafes to try—for those slow moments when you just want to sit back and relax and savor a cup of joe. Bookmark if you&#x27;re ever in town!</p><div><strong><br/></strong></div><div><strong>1. Isla Cafe, Barangay 5 National Highway, Coron, 5316 Palawan</strong></div><p>During the times we passed by this road, where all the busy restaurants and shops are, Isla Cafe stood out to me as one of the eye-catching spots for its nipa hut-inspired exterior. I had seen foreigners sitting outside their shop a couple of times, and I just felt all the more curious about what they had to offer. Apparently, Isla Cafe is known for its crepes—and they claim they make the best ones on the island! I sampled their Mango-Banana-Nutella crepe, and it surely did not disappoint! The recently opened cafe is a mishmash of all the things we love—Korean food, comfort drinks, baked goodies, books, and little knick-knacks from around the world. Situated in a quiet spot in town, the cafe draws customers from locals to tourists alike. They&#x27;re open til midnight, so you can enjoy comfort dishes like cook-your-own ramyeon, mini muffins, and pizza! Just a few meters away from <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/metro-style/travel/2025/7/9/the-funny-lion-coron-experience-2012" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Funny Lion</a>, BitterBean is an al fresco cafe that boasts of minimalist design but a not-so-minimalist menu. They have quite the selection from coffee, fruit shakes, matcha, herbal teas, craft beers, breakfast dishes like egg souffles, overnight oats, and smoothie bowls, paninis, pasta, grain bowls, shaved ice desserts, and cakes!
