<p>The <strong>Disney+ Originals Preview 2025</strong> event was recently held in <strong>Hong Kong Disneyland</strong>, gathering some of the Korean entertainment industry&#x27;s top stars to stir excitement for their new shows on the streaming platform. Among those who graced the content showcase were <em><strong>A Shop for Killers</strong> </em>director <strong>Lee Kwon</strong> and lead stars <strong>Lee Dongwook </strong>and<strong> Kim Hyejun</strong><strong></strong>, who shared what to expect from their action drama&#x27;s second season. <strong></strong></p><p><em>A Shop for Killers </em>was <em></em>released on January 17, 2024. In Season 1, viewers see Jian desperately fighting to survive, as highly skilled assassins attack her in her childhood home to gain access to her house and the powerful weapons and equipment inside. In the story, Jinman is presumed dead, with Jian unknowingly inheriting her uncle&#x27;s business. </p><p>Season 2 is expected to be as action-packed, if not more explosive, than the first, with Jian uncovering more of Jinman&#x27;s past and becoming more involved in this dangerous undertaking. In the second season, Lee Dongwook and Kim Hyejun will be joined by Japanese star <strong>Masaki Okada </strong>(<em>Drive My Car</em>, <em>We’re Millennials. There were stories we couldn&#x27;t tell in Season 1, and I&#x27;m very satisfied because it feels like we&#x27;ve gotten an opportunity to explain those things a little bit.&quot;</p><p> <strong></strong><strong></strong>Kim Hyejun, on the other hand, said, &quot;I liked it too. First of all, the parts that weren&#x27;t explained in Season 1, there were probably parts I didn&#x27;t even know about, so I was really curious about how those parts would be resolved. While I was happy, I was also wondering in what direction Jihan in Season 2 would grow and what kind of image I should show. I think I felt that simultaneously with a sense of burden.&quot; </p><p>Lee Dongwook agreed that there&#x27;s a greater sense of burden for Season 2; after all, sequels are always tricky, and there&#x27;s always that pressure to live up to, if not go beyond, the expectations. &quot;First, because Season 1 received so much love, I had the desire for Season 2 to receive as much love, or even more, than that. And also, because our director personally does the script and also directs, I also felt concern for the director. The act of creating a new story itself is a huge burden and a difficult task. So, I&#x27;m trying my best to help the director from the side.&quot; </p><p>In his signature Lee Dongwook humor, he wrapped up his answer by saying, &quot;And anyway, Jung Jihan has the most screen time, so I approached it with a relaxed mind.&quot;</p><div><br/></div><div><strong><em>Catch A Shop for Killers Season 2 next year. In the meantime, stream Season 1 in its entirety exclusively on Disney+.</em></strong></div>
