The group’s feat, announced on November 24, 2025, is a testament to the power of Filipino music fans, who cast their votes on the Vibe with Tatak Pinoy playlist, propelling the band to center stage for an unforgettable performance on television.</p><p>The headline comes after an exciting fan-driven voting cycle where Over October’s hit track “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuBgeUQo4s8" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Dahan</strong></a>” competed against tracks from fellow Filipino artists Arthur Miguel with his “Sulyap” and Dilaw with their “BLACK N&#x27; WHITE”. As the top choice, Over October took their place as the Tatak Pinoy Live headliner on the November 23 episode of <em>Vibe</em>, bringing their infectious music to an even broader audience.</p><p>Their dedication to creating music that resonates deeply with their growing fanbase, known as the <strong>Octobears</strong>, has helped them maintain a strong presence in the music scene for over a decade. We have conflicts. We just aren&#x27;t afraid to have those difficult conversations. Like, we are just really as honest as we can with each other. <em>May sistema na kami</em>. Open communication<em> lang talaga.</em>”</p><p>They emphasized how their unique dynamic helps them navigate both personal and creative differences. “<em>Nag</em>-weekly meetings <em>pa nga kami para lang</em> aligned <em>&#x27;yung mga</em> schedule and stuff. <em>Tapos ‘pag may kailangan i</em>-raise <em>na</em> concerns, we raise it there. If ‘<em>yung</em> problem <em>naman</em> is between two members, <em>nag</em>-<em>i</em>-initiate <em>naman kami </em>between ourselves internally.”</p><p>Over October is composed of <strong>Josh Buizon</strong> on lead vocals and rhythm guitars,<strong> Joshua Caleb Lua</strong> on lead guitars, <strong>Joric Canlas </strong>on bass, <strong>Janessa Geronimo</strong> on drums, and <strong>Anton Rodriguez</strong> on rhythm guitars.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17640714283822.jpg" style="width:700px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Over October’s milestone as Tatak Pinoy Live’s first headliner was a moment made possible by the Octobears, whose votes helped the band take center stage. As part of the celebration, select fans who voted for “Dahan” were invited to the Spotify Premium Fan Lounge, where they had the chance to meet the band, bond with fellow fans, and watch the live performance up close.</p><p>“We&#x27;re only here because of the fans and the Octobears that voted for us. So, we&#x27;re really thankful to them. And we&#x27;re really happy to be the first,” the band humbly acknowledged. </p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17640714538623.jpg" style="width:700px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Over October’s achievements extend beyond their recent Tatak Pinoy Live performance. The band’s 2025 has been filled with highlights, including a free concert in October that brought fans together for an unforgettable live experience. A collab with them would be amazing,&quot; said Janessa. Joshua, on the other hand, shared that he wants to collaborate with Maki as he thinks their styles will surely match. Other artists they’d like to collaborate with are Loonie and Kyo.</p><p>Despite their success, Over October remains grounded, recognizing the incredible support from their fans. &quot;With the help also of the Octobears and our fans, we&#x27;re just happy to be here and just wanna give everyone a show, like being the first Tatak Pinoy.
