Gala Night: "The Bodyguard The Musical" at the New Proscenium Theater

<p><strong>The Proscenium Theater</strong> has finally been unveiled, as <strong>Rockwell</strong>&#x27;s debut production, <strong>9 Works Theatrical</strong>&#x27;s staging of <em><strong>The Bodyguard: The Musical</strong></em>, held its gala night on September 25, 2025. </p><p>Guests dressed in glitz and glam ensembles, matching the high-octane production that befits the superstar that is<strong> Rachel Marron</strong>, the character famously portrayed by the iconic <strong>Whitney Houston</strong>, and is now brought to life by Grammy-nominated artist <strong>Christine Allado </strong>in Manila. Joining Christine are her fellow West End star <a href="https://metro.style/metro-style/people/2025/8/24/manila-s-the-bodyguard-the-musical-leading-man-get-to-know-west-end-star-matt-blaker-better-2137" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Matt Blaker </strong></a><strong></strong>as Frank Farmer, <strong>Sheena Palad</strong> as Nicki Marron; <strong>CJ Navato</strong> as Ray Court (also covering Frank Farmer); <strong>Tim Ya</strong><strong>p</strong> as Sy Spector; <strong>John Joven-Uy</strong> as Bill Devaney; <strong>Vien King</strong> as Agent Laney; <strong>Jasper Jimenez</strong> as Tony Scibelli; and <strong>Paji Arceo </strong>as Douglas, with <strong>Elian Santos</strong> and <strong>Giani Sarita</strong> alternating as Fletcher. </p><p>Completing the stellar lineup are <strong>Jasmine Fitzgerald </strong>(covering both Rachel and Nicki Marron), along with celebrated talents <strong>Radha</strong>, <strong>Fay Castro</strong>, <strong>Winchester Lopez</strong> (also Dance Captain), <strong>Carmelle Ros</strong>, <strong>Richardson Yadao</strong>, <strong>Iya Villanueva</strong>, <strong>Vyen Villanueva</strong>, <strong>Alex Aure</strong>, <strong>Julio Laforteza</strong>, <strong>Natalie Duque</strong>,<strong> PJ Rebullida</strong>, <strong>Lorenz Martinez</strong>, and <strong>Lani Ligot</strong>.                                                        </p><p>Based on the 1992 romantic thriller drama film, <em>The Bodyguard: The Musical </em>follows the story of actress-singer Rachel, who is threatened by a stalker. <em></em> A former Secret Service agent, Frank, is tapped to become her bodyguard.
