Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino Get Viewers' Choice Awards at ContentAsia Awards 2025

Paulo, on the other hand, joined the roster of Favorite Actors, which includes Singapore&#x27;s James Seah, Thailand&#x27;s Panitan &quot;Mickey&quot; Budkaew, Indonesia&#x27;s Oka Antara, and Malaysia&#x27;s Evertts Gomes.The two Filipino stars made their KimPau tandem known through series like 2023&#x27;s Linlang and 2024&#x27;s What&#x27;s Wrong With Secretary Kim. Early this year, they starred in their first film together, My Love Will Make You Disappear.<div></div>Individually, they have almost two decades of experience, both starting in the entertainment industry in 2006 through reality shows: Paulo in StarStruck and Kim in Pinoy Big Brother. Eventually, they have established themselves in showbiz, earning well-deserved top spots in the list of local A-list artists. For Linlang, Kim was also nominated at the ContentAsia Awards 2024 and was named the Silver champion for Best Actress in a series at the TAG Awards Chicago. For the same project, Kim and Paulo were both nominated as Outstanding Asian Stars at the <a href="https://metro.style/people/celebrities/kim-chiu-s-speech-at-seoul-drama-awards-2024/38988" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Seoul International Drama Awards</a>, with Kim ultimately taking home the trophy.On staying relevant in such a cutthroat industry and having a trending loveteam at this point in their careers, Paulo commented in <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/people/2025/3/5/metrostyle-exclusive-kim-chiu-paulo-avelino-first-film-together-my-love-will-make-you-disappear-1110" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">a previous Metro.Style interview</a>: “It‘s funny, but it‘s our third project together. I don&#x27;t know. Maybe may nakikita talaga ‘yung mga tao that gives them happiness or gives them kilig.&quot; Kim, who&#x27;s known to be part of loveteams since she started, is grateful for the fans&#x27; support, saying, &quot;Sobrang natutuwa naman ako na ‘yung supporta talaga ng mga tao every decade, iba-iba. Nand‘yan talaga sila.
