Can This Love Be Translated? kicked off an exciting year in the K-drama scene. The rom-com series, starring Kim Seon Ho and Go Youn Jung, quickly became the top show on Netflix Philippines upon its release last January 16. Go Youn Jung&#x27;s Cha Mu Hee, on the other hand, is an actress who rose to fame with her character, Do Ra Mi, in a zombie film titled The Quiet Woman. Before she became famous, she and Jo Hoo Jin had a chance encounter during a trip in Japan. They later reconnect as Cha Mu Hee takes on a new project, a dating show called Romantic Trip, which requires her to travel to Canada and Italy; Joo Ho Jin serves as the show&#x27;s interpreter, translating the conversation between Cha Mu Hee and her co-star, Sota Fukushi&#x27;s Hiro Kurosawa.<div></div>As the show progresses, Joo Ho Jin and Cha Mu Hee&#x27;s relationship evolves, too. The Start-Up lead stars are starring in the upcoming Disney+ series Portraits of Delusion, based on the popular Naver Webtoon Delusion.In this romantic mystery series, set in 1935 Gyeongsong, Suzy is cast as a heartbroken vampire in mourning, named Madam Song Jeong Hwa, while Kim Seon Ho&#x27;s character is Yun I Ho, a struggling painter with a past. Jeong Hwa commissions I Ho to create a portrait, but as he looks at her, he sees a different side of her. The K-drama, which is part of Netflix&#x27;s lineup of shows this year, recently released its poster, showing the two out at night, looking at each other on a street. Like Cha Mu Hee, Go Youn Jung&#x27;s character in Can This Love Be Translated?, Byun Eun Ah, her character in We Are All Trying Here, also navigates the entertainment industry—this time as a producer at a film company, who appears calm but is dealing with trauma. On the other hand, Koo Kyo Hwan, Hwang Dong Man, is struggling with envy because, as an aspiring film director, he has yet to make his debut.
